The final episode felt like the show was just trying to get rid of Evil Morty so it didn't have to make more episodes with him and come up with an actual story.

The same goes for Rick's past. We were given an answer and I think that will be all we ever get.

Both were unsatisfying.

The last two episodes weren't terrible but they sure weren't anything special. On the other hand, they were better than the middle of season 5 which was just, ugh.

I've really liked season 6 so far, especially the early episodes.

The introduction/return of Prime Rick should give us some great episodes in the future.

Regarding Evil Morty, do we think he was also returned to his original universe in S6E1? It's a possible way for him to return to the story.

You can watch episode 1 and 2 free on adultswim com. Episode 1 until 10/30 and Episode 2 until 11/6

Not sure if the rest of the episodes will unlock in a similar manner

Yeah small sample size but definitely a solid season so far. Citadel/Evil Morty episodes always decent as long as they only go back to that well occasionally and don't turn the whole series into a serial. Die Hard episode was a solid premise and showed just a touch of Rick's human side at the end. I really loved Bethic Twinstinct, reminds me of earlier episodes where they really do a deep dive into the ****ed-up psyches of the family members.

Last one was just meh, but there's always gonna be at least one. Anybody else think the joke about Sleepy Gary ruining Jerry's gag reflex was a little too lowbrow even for this show? Fun callback nonetheless, but eh.

Yeah…. There is an article I read on AVClub that was scathing as hell in the comments and one of those things that probably can’t come back from.

Too bad it’s such a valuable IP. Cancelling the show seems like the best idea but I’d hate for that many people to lose their jobs.

If older dudes want to bang younger (legal) girls then that is there prerogative but there is only so much negative press that can be taken before something gives.

Seems like hes got some issues he needs to resolve. I've heard hes a horrific alcoholic on top of all this creeper ****

I knew there was no way this show could keep up the pace of the first couple seasons, I'm just praying it doesn't take a Simpsons or Family Guy nosedive.

If there are at least a couple of really good rewatchable episodes and no more than one "WTF was that" episode every season (which wasn't even a thing until recently, I think the incest space baby might have been the first one that hit that level for me), I'll be happy enough. Really shouldn't be that hard of a bar to clear given the gap between seasons.

I've never been a fan of the President character but I seem to be in the minority. There are many other characters I'd rather see again.

Dr. Wong is one of them. An episode which was nothing but Rick in therapy could be hilarious.

The show doesn't seem to get that shock value wears off after you do the same thing dozens of times. So, all the puking was just filler by the end.

They're making a legit character out of him, rather than making him some goofy one-note, so I'm kinda cool with him coming back once a season as long as they continue to develop him. Same with Wong.

Not sure how I feel about bringing Unity back, this plot was OK but I dunno about how often they can revisit the whole Rick relationship angle with her (they? it?). Also, I know it's awkward to not have a single entity to focus on, but it feels like they got a little lazy having her mostly just speak through the hot blue chick from Unity's last appearance (outside of that one scene on the street in VA).
