ive lived in boston for just about my entire life. im here right now. its a terrible accent. No one talks like that, trust me. Liev Schriver's accent is really good though, a lot of people I know sound exactly like him. Like kind of monotone and muted r's, not AAAAHHH's like everyone else thinks. John Voight's is a really old schoolish boston irish southie/dorchester-quincy type of accent. A lot of older guys talk like that, like theyd say four as "foe-ah" not fouaaahh. Actually just about everyone on this show does a pretty good accent except for the wife.

Oh and its cool to see James Woods out of nowhere. Ive seen him at foxwoods a few times, he only comes when the jackpot gets real high and nits it up at 10/20 limit.

this show is great, but it needs to bring back more of the douche movie producer. that guy is a fantastic character, the guy who got his wrist broken by ray

Yeah, this show is borderline terrible. It has the occasional moment thats not too bad, but overall, just not enjoyable at all. But it's almost good. I still think there is potential, but I don't think the show has much of an idea of what they trying to do yet. I think in a 8 episode season, this would work much better, and might actually be really good. But 13 (or is it 12 for this?) was a really bad idea.

I don't think it's as terrible as you guys are making it out, but yea they need to pick up the pace of the story. I dunno Maybe I just want it to be better than it is.

I like a few of the characters, but it's all so sloppy and WAY too much filler. The two brothers are my favorites, but had the show been about just them, I never would've tuned in. Ray's work, and that blond girl, made me keep going past the pilot. I wouldn't go so far as to say I necessarily regret it, yet. But if it doesn't get a lot better by the end of the season, I won't bother with next season. I think there is a good chance to turn it around though. Ray's situation with his father and how it ties into his brothers, and now James Woods could be interesting in the right hands.

I think everything dealing w Ray, his business, and everything Mickey is pretty good. Everything else is just so abysmal. The child actors are terrible and each of their storylines is muddled and a waste. Not a huge fan of the brothers' storylines either.

Yeah, I am in just because it is on my home turf. And now that Breaking Bad is back, this has felt even more second-rate. It feels forced.

I mean even if the rest of the show is crap (I dont think it is), the scenes with Jon Voigt are generally so good, that I would still watch this show

Did anyone here watch Crash on Starz?

Has a very similar feel. But I think crash was better

I loved the first couple episodes of this but holy **** does Ray's family drag this down. Everything in Boston was fantastic. Voight is great. Brothers are great. Scene with Woods was excellent. Kid whining in the backseat of the car made me want to shoot him in the face myself.

Kid on this show is equivalent to kid in homeland and maybe kid in BB. Why do they have this horribad plots about kids that nobody gives a **** about. The kid on BB, I kind of understand. Homeland son, and RD son both have ******ed plot lines. The daughter stuff is pretty unbearable as well.

I liked the the daughter when she was in Money Ball, but in this she's atrocious almost like the daughter from Californication. The plots of the kids should be minimal, like they do it in Boardwalk empire, unless things are interesting like the Sporano's kids although I felt both were kind of overdone as well at times especially the son.

The actor who plays ray is great, the dbag movie producer is great, guy who ray reports to is good too, voight is phenomenal

Wife is so bad, daughter is terrible, the plot regarding killing voight is bad as it'll prematurely kill show

If ray kills punk neighbor id be intrigued again

the actress who plays the wife is a talented actress. but i agree the character is pretty lame.

i love the dbag movie producer. he needs to be in it way more.

no way ray kills the kid. heroes in tv shows dont kill kids.
