And he gets stabbed but they don't have a doctor attend to it for a long time, then they send him back to gen with blood stains all over his clothing.

Can't say that I was too impressed with this episode. It seemed like just more of the same stuff. Terry is honorable but in bad trouble and doesn't want help. Bunch is caught in awkward sexual situations. Mickey is an absolute screw-up and pretty much murders a judge. The FBI guy doesn't want to do anything but ends up cleaning up a dead body again. Abby continues to be practically the worst mom she can be and the kids are just plain spoiled. And Ray drinks, gets beat up, and feels guilty about the past. And, isn't it even easier for the brotherhood to get to Terry on the outside or are they all in jail?

One other thing I noticed is at one point , Daryl tells Mickey he only has one car when they go to buy the cocaine, and later we see the Caddy parked outside the prison at roughly the, same time Daryl is taking the hoes to their appointments. Granted with everything else that happened this is not the worst thing, but it just seems in general the writers are just bad and think that nobody will notice.

I just finished episode 2 of this season. This show is so cheesedick I'm actually enjoying it. I was strangely very attracted to the thick Mexican wrestler girl until they decided to show Ray's brother creepily JO'ing to her in his office. There's so much weird **** going on in this show I don't see how you can't at least slightly enjoy it, even if it is for unintentional comedy.

El Diablo,

they're teasing us by not giving us the reunion we so desperately crave but I'm still holding out hope that those two crazy kids can make it work.

really any excuse to give his wife n kids more screentime is what we need.

I was thinking that also, and thought that's what Terry was going to say in the parking lot when he was let out.

The billionaire is going to be the bad guy, right? Like Ray sold his soul to the devil sort of thing, imo.

Darryl's livery is a new Caddy. The car parked outside the prison was Mickey's vintage ride (also a Caddy).

It was nice to see Bunchy as the Donovan who fixes things for once in lieu of Ray or Terry.

sitting down with the governor asking to release a violent felon with no backround info and then saying "This is taking far longer than I expected"

probably the best line yet for this show and im determined to use this in real life

I like the show but don't think it's fantastic & def don't think it's a top tier quality show, it's on Showtime FFS, it's about what can be expected imo. But I will say I think it has a couple of top notch characters ( Ray, Mickey, and i actually like Terry too). I just can't understand caring 1/10th as much as you guys do about unrealistic parts & how bad child actors who are on screen for 2 min an ep are. It's about entertainment FFS, not every show is The Wire.

Abby, the character not the actress, is horrendous & on the show too much though.

shameless is on showtime and has incredible child actors.

Luckily the theme of Ray Donovan isn't about growing up in a dysfunctional family, instead it's about female Mexican wrestlers, so they didn't need to focus on that

"incredible" may be a bit of a reach, esp in Deb and Carls case, but yeah Lip and the red haired one do a really good job. Shameless is probably Showtimes best show ever now that I think about it.

But of course the actor who plays Lip is 24, so he wasn't a kid even when the show began. And Red is about to turn 22, so he was probably 17 at start.
