This isn't about Ray Donovan but House of Cards on Netflix. In the latest season (S6E5) there is a home poker game where a character goes "I call..." and about four seconds later "and bump you $500." I can't believe they are still doing this in Hollywood. None of the writers, actors, crew ever play poker at a card room or casino?

There is a HOC thread, but yes, I saw this and is so annoying that every TV show and movie seems to go out of the way to make sure to do this.

Why not say "I Call' and wait for the other guy to turn up his hand before saying, and raise. What is the time limit? lol

When I saw Mickey in those boots, I immediately thought of him in "Midnight Cowboy"
1969. That movie back then was rated X and won academy awards. It's rated R these days. Great movie if you've never seen it.

I cracked up when Bunchie was beating the black dude and
