There were two versions posted on YouTube. One version is longer. There are things in there that give away more than the shorter version.
Also, if f you watch videos from people who have performed on P&T, many of them have said that they edit the performances to make the magicians look even better. Bryan Saint comes to mind. Look him up on YouTube. He talks about that and doing multiple takes of the tricks, etc.

There are four possible suits and four possible numbers. Two and five are mirror images of each other and it's easy to turn a two into a three, so getting the number to show two, three or five wouldn't take much work. One of those tricks where the general gist of how it's done is obvious but the specific mechanics are difficult to pin down. Cool effect.

I believe sometimes they say they were fooled by performances when they really weren’t. You’re right, I picked this one apart on the first viewing. All very standard moves. I think the Jeff McBride bowls performance is another one. Nothing tricky there. But I think out of reverence for him they gave him the trophy. I suspect at least one of the performances of that Australian lady they did it too.

Yeh I'm pretty certain they know, or at least have a few possible options on, how the majority of the tricks are done. I guess they go off whether they can narrow the options down to one/whether they can spot it.

Also, I'm sure there are some acts they'll let slide just because they're great acts, and they want them at their show.

The 3 on the box is pretty simple. He gets to handle the deck, palm the 3, and distracts with a fake place and motion to his left hand, then sets the 3 on the 2nd place of the box

The other tricks, no fkn clue.
