to be fair, it is a pretty hard show to market even if Amazon didn't suck balls at marketing their shows. The show would have def done a lot better on Netflix. Hopefully Season 2 getting a lot more praise guarantees future seasons. Surprised Chris Conrad isn't getting more small parts in features/indies after his breakout in Season 1.
The writing staff should def get some emmys. I saw someone describe it online as In Bruges meets Burn After Reading with a little of A Life Aquatic's crazy vibe and tone sprinkled in.
