I searched this forum but did not see any threads dedicated to this series.
Has anyone watched Patriot on Amazon Prime? I'm really impressed with their ability to really develop the characters and extract different emotions through the series (sad, laughs, action, suspense).
I'm only through 6 episodes but I can seriously say it's one of the best dark suspense spy sad comedy thrillers I have ever watched, mainly because I've never found anything quite like it. Check it out.
Just finished. Really liked the show, but one question started nagging at me by the end of the season.
I suspect I'm forgetting a nuance from an earlier episode, but why exactly did he need to join the piping company? Initially, all he had to do was hand the bag to someone in Luxembourg - couldn't he have just bought a ticket, handed off the bag, and come home?

they felt that multiple trips to lux for tourist reasons would look suspicious
Look suspicious to who? I doubt anyone is really scrutinizing travel to Luxembourg and you could likely fly there every week for months with only the most basic justification. And at first, there was no reason to think he would need to make multiple trips anyway.
But whatever - I enjoyed the show and looking forward to the next season. Just couldn't remember if I was missing something more concrete.
