I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Krackman for many years and I’m stoked for the premier. How they perceive guys like Vegas Dave, who is a massive scamdicapper and thief will define if it’s watchable for me. I’m sure there are many posters here that have had interactions with some of the characters. Starts tomorrow night.

Halfway through the first episode right now. It's super entertaining. I'm definitely looking forward to watching this show.

It's amazing how 98% of these gamblers are morbidly obese.

Agreed. It's sickening to see him making those ungodly amounts of $ in such a short period of time. Although it is also so messed up that the money can't ever satisfy him. I think he was right on when they asked him if he was addicted to gambling and he said "I'm addicted to making money."

Trailer looks amazing. That shot of degen in a home with no furniture is HOF.

Enjoyed all but the VD bs. I tweeted the producer today and challenged him to revealed the real reason VD is barred from Vegas casinos , and it’s not picking winners lol

I hope it’s like Game of Thrones and a main character gets killed off and the character being Vegas Dave

That montage of touts yelling about their locks of the century and **** really took me back. I remember when I was in college, one TV channel would just run those non-stop the morning of football games. My roommates and I would watch them like they were any other entertainment. We would call the numbers for added fun, but never actually paid for anything.

And I didn't know anything about Vegas Dave before watching the first episode. He definitely comes across as a totally insecure scammer.

Disgusting the amount of money he’s pulling from picks.

If u mean Vegas Dave and the KC bet, he played almost every team via future that year and ate a ton of vig . It was a marketing ploy from day 1.

Episode 2 doesn’t treat VD, can we just call him that, as kindly.

If he’s making 50-150k a cfb weekend through his picks. I’ll assume he’s making more on nfl. I’ve heard he does baseball as well. His expenses are what? Gambling, research, and marketing, the latter which he does a lot of. He obviously spends some time doing research but I’m not sure how good his analysis really is.

Like I know he boasts some ridiculous records but I’ve read his betting strategy is martingale-esqe.

I'm assuming when he won on the Broncos he probably bet of at least a few other teams with similar odds. So yes you get a big payout and make some money but also invest more than he lets on that he did.

Things like Holly Holms is an easy bet and lots of people made money on that because she was great odds if she pulled the upset.

Its still a good show if your into sports betting, I like them showing the back room of WG, just wish you could see more what exactly was on the screens. I mean it looked like their system that showed profit on either side at any moment that helps them know when and how much to move the lines.

But I wonder how they knew that a sharp guy had bet a certain game, since they have 8 different ratings for players they put you in and update it every few months, I guess they have a feed of decent size bets that comes across and has the player rating/category next to it.

The screens, at least a couple, had DonBest lines service on them. It shows the majority of off shore and Vegas books lines in real time. It’s what they use to copy their opening lines from.

Almost any bet of substance requires a players card. Sharps are frequent bettors and recognized by staff. They almost always bet their max allowed and those wagers néed approval by the current manager or even called into the sports books hub. U would be shocked how little of a bet takes real time 3-7 minutes in these clown shops.
I recently tried getting 300$ on JSpieth to win a golf T and after 6 minutes and 2 phone calls they gave me 200$ . This was at Aria. South point is about the only place not run by dressmakers who will take a bet. They have the knowledge and balls to offer -105 on this weekends ncaa.

I mean where they showed the 2 guys each looking at 4 monitors, none of those were donbest, unless maybe a tiny portion off to the side. WG doesn't copy the offshore on most things, maybe some. When there are big moves from Pinny and bookmaker they will move the lines, very slow to do so on NHL tho, they don't have a high opinion of those moves.

That is surprising for only a $300 bet, but was it high odds or something?

Here's a story a friend told me ten years ago. He went to Caesars to cash a ticket, and while he was there, he saw Clint Bowyer at 30-1 to win the NASCAR race that week. He went to the window to bet $100 on him.

CLERK: I'm sorry sir, we're only willing to risk $1k on that bet. $100 would win $3k.

BETTOR: LOL. OK, fine, I'll bet $35.

CLERK: (types it in) No, sir, that would win $1,050. We can't take a bet that large.

BETTOR: (having fun with this now) OK, let me get down $33.75 on this.

CLERK: (types) I'm sorry, that would win $1012.50, that's still too much.

BETTOR: OK, try $33.67.

CLERK: (dutifully types)....

NARRATOR: (interrupting) THIS IS AT CAESARS PALACE!!! People think you can go to Las Vegas and bet as much as you want on anything you can think of...it's not like that any more!
