Good overall - Jared Harris was very good.

I was hoping for more development of the creature and the Inuit's relationship with it - something beyond a monster that eats everyone.

The acting was superb from start to finish. The show started out well, hit a little slow patch, and then was top notch the last 3 episodes.

Liked the first episode, good show to watch late at night. I also really liked Jared Harris in Mad Men. Good actor

Was he waiting for the creature at the end? Or was that last scene just random.

I assume the creature gets reborn or conjured up again etc.

I think that was just part of his fishing party. Part of his new, mundane, bleak existence.

Excellent show but the finale felt a bit off. Like, that was Hickey's master plan? To get ate up by a ****ing monster? Whatever, it takes nothing away from the excellence of the show. Jared Harris was great! Incredible acting when he was listening to Fitzjames' confession. I don't think I've ever seen a better example of esprit de corps depicted on screen.

Hickey f’n dying in the way he did was the highlight of the finale for me.

I guess its a complement to the actor and writers that I realllly hated his guts.

I learned today that I got two people irl to watch this show who wouldn't have heard of its existence otherwise. So happy to be an evangelist for this show, still don't understand why it's gotten so little attention.
