I think that's a bit of a strained connection PJ. Obv it's a Weinergate thing, but I don't think it's really intended as any reflection on Leslie's campaign. I think it's more "oh, we need a B/C story and something for Anne to do plus dick jokes are funny".

even with the completely tacked on Ann/Chris storyline, it was an amazing episode.

Swanson has joined George Costanza and GOB Bluth(or any bluth really) on my list of all time tv characters.

I wasn't feeling it again this week. Tammy 2>>>>>>>>>Tammy 1, and Momma Tammy didn't really bring anything to the party, just take some basic Ron lines and have an older white trash woman say it. Didn't really like the whole drink off thing either, Ron went from being a wimp wrapped around Tammy 1's finger to telling to go to hell for no real reason. It's almost like they're trying to cover too much ground too quickly, dial it down a notch like the last two seasons have been. Tammy 1, Momma Tammy, Entertainment 720, and Ann/Chris all in one episode just is too much stuff to do right.

April's awesome usually, but she's kind of a bad actress. she hams up a lot of crap. like after drinking the mash liquor, she looks almost like she's pulling a Jimmy Fallon on SNL, laughing at the bit.

The reason is that Leslie is the one person who has a positive influence on Ron's life that can compete vs. the Tammys and seeing her drink to the point of "Everybody pants down" woke him up. That and the moonshine.

jean ralphio is just so very amazing.

the party button and the tv showing footage of a yacht were both great.

the other two story lines were pretty weak. they tend to overdo it on the ron completely changes for no good reason plots.

Great episode. Felt like there a commentary on the economic situation there with Swanson hoarding gold and Jean Ralphio and Tom printing their own money! That whole scene was hilarious.
