I don't see how Leslie can win and the show can still continue, but this is one of the few shows were I don't think it will have a predictable outcome, and even if they do, they will do an amazing job with it.

I think I want to see her lose (preferably to Councilman Houser), and then have all her projects stonewalled as a form of retribution while Ron delights in it. I think something like that could work

I guess something that could happen is she loses, but Chris Leaves, Ron takes over his job, and she gets a promotion. I just can't see how the show can run with her being on city council and still work.

"Yes... This is my halloween costume."

Disappointed with the episode, missed a great opportunity to use some JRalphio with the politicians.

Chris Trager had literally... the best episode he's had on this show.

I loved Chris tonight, especially right at the end. "And Jerry, I should let you know, we will likely be having intercourse later."

Ben Schwartz got hired by some other show so it is harder to for him to do P&R.
Leslie running for office is fine, it's no different than say the harvest festival as a construct for Leslie to need "go to function x" or w/e that drives the plot.

I don't get how it's just not super obvious that we're getting like close to exactly the right amount of Jean Ralphio. That is not a character that works at all in anything but tiny doses. We basically got a version of that with Tom in this ep, and it was grating as hell to me.

just learned a bunch of my friends went to college with jean ralphio and they had literally no good stories to share. although i did learn he played pick up basketball!

Agreed. The moment the theme music just brings a giant ass smile to my face. Even look at this episode where I didn't think it was outstanding, people ITT thought it was subpar, and we were still able to list off like 8-10 jokes/gags that worked very well.

yep, this show just always delivers. april was especially outstanding.

looks like operation keep sticking ann with different characters until something works was back in effect tonight. I did think the ron/ann stuff worked tonight, and they definitely did show some camera shots of ann looking at ron with some googly eyes, so maybe they're hinting at a romance there.

can't say I really see it working long-term though

The only way and Ann/Ron thing works is if she falls for him (I mean who couldn't, he's so virile) and gets nowhere because she's clearly not his type. I think you could get some humor over her having like an ep long crush on him, but anything more than that wouldn't work.

"I like pretty, dark-haired women and breakfast food."

They have made this same joke way too many times. Not funny.

In my opinion, there have been two funny Chris "jokes" in the last two weeks.

We all know that Jerry is generally crapped on, by everybody, and Chris, who is generally the most upbeat "nice" guy to everyone, also craps on him...twice.

1. When Jerry was working on a Saturday, and tried to start a story, Chris just cut him off.

2. When Jerry said that Chris was beautiful, or something, Chris said something to the effect of "Jerry, you are beautiful...on the inside".

We all know that Chris is pretty much a prick, who has everyone else do his dirty work, while seemingly being upbeat about everything. It was just nice to see that come out, in the form of yet another Jerry beat down. Poor Jerry.

this episode felt really final, damn.

A few great lines as usual, a bit more serious tone to this episode obv.

"I... forgot they even dated. I was tryin to hit that."

i wish tv had only 1 channel and parks&rec was the only show. commercial free.

i think this was my favorite parks and recs episode of all time and i didn't even love the end of the world story line much but tom's party and andy/april had me smiling so friggin hard i don't even care about the other stuff.

where are all the faces = LOL

It really did. The last scene with Leslie in the office with the Zorb guy brought me back to normal though.
