I see I might be the only one putting You're The Worst on his list this year, which saddens me.

Sepinwalls list isn't bad, fwiw

cant understand if that’s intended to be a 2016 or 2017 list, but Ozark came out this year

How about somebody just starts a 2017 thread where everybody posts their top 10/20 or whatever. Maybe throw some notes on some of the shows about why they were good. I need some ideas for the christmas break. I also like mocking people's awful taste.
12-14-2017 , 10:52 PM
that sounds good to me. an informal thread where we ridicule each other

if i'm(or someone else) is feeling inspired maybe put up some polls by category. like a best comedy of 2017, or best drama, or best actor or whatever

my wife really likes you're the worst.
I might give it another shot just remember not liking the first few episodes and never paid attention after that.

The first few episodes are not the best, but the show takes off in episode 5 "Sunday Funday" and doesn't look back. It's an incredible character driven comedy/drama

Agreed. Midway through season 1 --> end of season 3 is ridiculously underrated, 5 star television. It's seriously that good.

Yes, and I'll agree that S4 was not up to the same quality as S1-3, but especially in the last 4 or so episodes, I really enjoyed this season.
12-15-2017 , 03:48 AM
aight I'll give it another shot.

Riverboat -- Atlanta, Westworld, People vs OJ and Black Mirror (well, season starts Dec. 29) didn't air in 2017.

I love You're the Worst, but this was the worst season.

For all the sh*tposting I do in OOTV, I think I've only watched 10-12 shows in 2017, and no way should my #10 show (probably Survivor, can't quit that) be on a top 10 list.

To slightly mix things up, instead of top 2017 shows, here's what I'm most looking forward to in 2018. I don't think these will be the 5 best shows, but they're the ones I'm most looking forward to:

(5) South Park S21
(4) You're the Worst S5
(3) Billions S3
(2) Better Call Saul S4
(1) Black Mirror S4

+1, but that finale roped me backed in, and I'm all in for the final season.

Uproxx critic's poll top 10 ...

Spoiler:
1. The Leftovers
2. The Handmaid's Tale
3. Big Little Lies
4. Better Things
5. Twin Peaks: The Return
6. The Good Place
7. Halt and Catch Fire
8. Insecure
9. Game of Thrones
10. Better Call Saul

I'm surprised Mr. Robot gets virtually no love anymore.

Season 2 was pretty bad, and I think the show lost a huge chunk of its audience heading into s3

They nailed #1 and #2. I didn't care for #3 on the list. I thought it was garbage.

I agree about S2, but S3 is in my top 10. In critics poll, it's 80th. I think this season or Mr. Robot was better than this season of Game of Thrones.
