I loved watching this show week to week, from the pilot to the end. For me, each show was like a 5 hours experience, watching it, reading about it here and on other forums too, listening to the Jay and Jack podcast and the official podcast. Talking about it with friends.

But it's bittersweet to think about it now, because all this time I was watching it, I kept looking forward to the end, having all the mysteries explained, all the easter egg make sense, all the thread connected and then having a glorious complete rewatch where it would all make sense.

The ending robbed that away from me. But it did not erase the experience I had during 6 years watching and really enjoying this show. It still ranks as my favorite show ever. And one day I will rewatch it completely, but not yet...

Just bingewatched Sense8. A show that does much better bingewatching than LOSt ever wouldve done, and I also think Sense8 would be a much bigger "hit" (I mean its not well recieved although i fricking loved it) if it were released on a weekly basis. Soo much emotionals, it gets to much for some while bingewatching but im a crying sob, i loved it.

huge recommend if you were a lost fan.

The people I know who understood the ending liked it.

Yeah, LOST ending was too "deep" to understand it. That's why so many people (myself included) hated it.

Man, I wish I'd be smart enough to understand high art like that.

Maybe you should try watching it again. It might sink in.

deep =/= hard to understand =/= enjoyable

Although I didn't read the entire thread, I somehow doubt anyone called it "deep."

The Lost ending is great in my book.

It's the journey that counted.

As someone who watched lost from pilot to finale by means of excruciating week by week anticipation, this is my summation.

In addition to being a catalyst for the dramatic televised narrative and character development, blah blah social media, blah.. yes it was fkn great. What really intrigued people though, in ways past shows had not, was by indirectly tapping into some of the most sought out questions of all time. Many watched anticipating a conclusion that would help answer the great mystery of life, the universe--just what the hell happens when you die?

Many years and six seasons later they pretty much told us that life is a mystery and so is Lost. Cheers, and have a nice day!

Now if ya ask me everyone watching fell in one of three categories

1,) those that realized they were getting jerked off early and backed out knowing they wouldn't, couldn't deliver.

2.) those that realized this but didn't care and road along for the sake of a free handy/great storytelling

3.) those that never realized this and were up in arms disappointed by the finale.

1 and 2 are respectable positions, if you found yourself in category 3 stick to daytime talk shows and GSN.

Cheers and have a nice day!

You forgot an anology for 3.

Getting the best head of your life for 3 seasons. 2 seasons of disinterested tugging and a final season where they threw their hands up and quit leaving everyone with a really bad case of blue balls.

Just fired this show up from the start to see Kate. Gonna say she's the best. Ever.

Also Sawyer was a punk ass.

I watched Lost from start to finish in like 10 days. I liked a few episodes, but overall was really disappointed in how nothing tied together.

I think it would have been a way better show had it all been based in reality, without all the magical **** taking place.

Like damn, these 50 people are literally on an island in the middle of nowhere, but there was a civilization undetected by society already there. That's ****ing nuts and intriguing.

Wait, it's a magical island that can disappear? There's time travel on this island? They got off the island then went back? Loooooool gtfo

Dude that played Sawyer was one those actors so good at his role, he made me hate him early and love him later. Kind of like Jesse on BB, or, umm, Joey on Friends.

Haven't seen the first season since it aired, and I can't believe the forshadowing they used. It's clear they had the dream/limbo/whatever thing in mind from the start. Locke is talking about dark vs white with backgammon pieces, Jack tells Kate everyone died on the beach in the plane crash. I was too dumb to notice any of that of course, but I aint mad cause Kate.

The Silent Hill movie was more a problem, everyone thinks the same thing until they check the internet.

Binged the show. Thought it was an enjoyable ride.

I would have hated it if I was one of those that tuned in week after week.

first 3 seasons were so great

In recent years, I've enjoyed shows more if I watch them slowly rather than binging them.

Even if its an original Netflix show, I think I get more enjoyment if I watch no more than one episode a day over a couple weeks (for a new show/season) rather than watching multiple episodes back-to-back and finishing the show in a few days.

Meh you keep saying that. Watching this show with groups of friends every week for 4 years was way more fun than any Netflix marathon tho

I think the LOST message board discussion was awesome, I think it was better than any show discussion since then.
