I'm thinking it is because Eko and ana lucia were apart of the tail section. Did Cindy make it to the island?

For those saying the people on that last plane escaped and lived out their lives, what about Richard Alpert? Some 300 year old dude was real? Cool story bro
No, the island stuff all happened. If the island was purgatory then what was the flash sideways? Super purgatory?

My interpretation is that Michael and Walt were there, we just didn't get a camera shot of them.

Isn't this the boiled down point of most religions?

Well if heaven does exist, our lives are pretty insignificant. They chose to go with the route that heaven exists, I would have preferred they left it open to interpretation but it's whatever.

So what was the purpose of the island? What was the light? Why did some people on the series have supernatural powers? Who was the smoke monster and what did he want to do if he got off the island? Doesn't seem like the finale answered any questions at all.

Libby and Bernard were both in the tail section.

Yes, Cindy made it. She was on a couple times this season...you know, in that meaningless on-island plot that ended up having absolutely nothing to do with the story.

I think the obv answer for why certain ppl were missing at finale is because of money, time.

I don't mind the resolution so much, but don't really care for it either. I think it will grow on me with repeat viewings and discussion, perhaps, but parts just felt meh.

As a whole, the 2 hours did not live up to the series imo. Lepidus just kind of floating there and then flying them off was silly imo.

The all-powerful-indestructible smoke monster getting taken out in a fist fight was very meh.

One too many reunions, romantic flash montages imo. Should have cut out the Shannon/Sayid one, to me Sayid's constant was most def Nadia.

Only explanation i could possibly come up with is that because Michael/walt left through that certain channel and a deal was made it excluded them from being involved. I'm not saying that's right, just remember them showing the deal made between Michael and Ben during the 2 hour recap and making it seem like it mattered.

WTF **** you lost for making me waste my life on this ****.

So they're all dead and are in some kind of 'afterlife' then what's with Desmond being able to see the alt time line. Why are all of them on the same plane landing in LAX, why not just show them already in LA living their lives if 'time doesn't matter'. Sigh so disappointing

This can't be it since time has no meaning there.

Let's just assume that missing people weren't there because of contractual obligations.

Purgatory.

Light sustained the island (wasn't this obvious due to the fact when it went out the island started crumbling yet when it went back on it was stable again?).

It is a sci-fi show and other than MIB who had supernatural powers?

Blow and hookers.
