TV is going downhill it seems with all the Idol's, Dancing shows...I wish there were more shows like this around. Lost is one of the few shows on TV I watch, and it will be missed.

Lost has really gone so far downhill. This whole season felt like they were rushing through the story just to finish it up.

I'm having an odd mix of melancholy and nostalgia.

I kinda like the Smoke Monster replacement being Ben, since I think he's the most likely to charge into the light despite any warnings. Sawyer should be a lot more cautious about Jack's warnings after the submarine.

Nice article. Doesn't explicitly say so, but the rankings seem to be mostly based on how well the episodes fit into the overarching mythology. Katers will be pretty pleased with how her eps are ranked

Also, I am completely avoiding Hulu after today. There is no reason I should have to crank my volume up to hear dialogue and then have the commercials blaring. Seems like a surefire way to Pavlovian condition me to hate their product.

It's funny their #109 is the first one I saw. I was like "WTF is this show? This is dumb as hell!"

I really really hope you are right. I got really upset when I heard there were 3 alt endings.

It would just be so dumb if there is one ending where Jack wins, one ending where Locke wins, then two other random endings. I would be really annoying if the viewers were left to choose their favorite ending.

they are gag endings...the writers confirmed they only wrote and shot one ending and only the actors in it were allowed to read/view it

I hope they make them overly funny so some of the fanatics don't go overboard like the "island" comment some heard in the refer unit when Jin was held by Keamy.

I made a comment in the other thread about some of the re-cappers purposely twisting facts to establish their own story lines. Enjoy, comment, trash, add in more detail, BUT NO to generating new facts from thin air, that's the original writers job.

Ive caught a few bits and pieces (not spoilers) from a couple of the cast involved in the secret scenes and the general consensus is the ending will confuse, annoy and perplex a lot of people on first viewing.

Like you know how the Sopranos was pretty obvious as to what that final scene was but somehow people still managed to pull off several theories on what happened, well Lost will be the same only there will be lots of scenes like that and so there is going to be a lot of death spiral in this thread where amongst the love/hate it stuff (my guess is 70/30 in favour of hate) there will likely be a few major theories and each of them will get some supporters digging foxholes for a long entrenched battle over who is right.

They incorrectly put not just one, but two(!) Season 6 episodes in the top 10. Also, 3 episodes from S3 in top 10? Wasn't that the horrible season where Kate, Jack, and Sawyer are imprisoned by the Others and only salvaged towards the end of the 2nd half?
