I have forgotten about last week's episode apart from it being pretty good. Better than this week's imo.

Love me some Jan though. Ah ah...

Hunter was in a few episodes we even heard his song at Michael and Jan's it seems she took his virginity dinner party.

Hhahaha this song is awesome, love the fact she played it regularly in front of Michael. Almost rivals the Modern Family equivalent of "Baby, baby, I just wanna do you, do you"

So glad you all loved this ep, I did too. I guess Jan was a bigtime underrated character in the earlier scenes. Also, maybe Andy's character is stale and the show needed a break from him

Aside from being hot, the stories surrounding her were always funny. And it gave one of Michael's better lines in the show: "You cheated on me when I specifically asked you not to."

I agree with Creed. I too miss Clinton. I liked Angela's "dog style" line. I laughed way too hard at this:

I liked this episode, but I never liked how they turned Jan from competent powerful boss to crazy person ... I suppose this criticism could apply every character on the show. Also the Jim can't find a way to make a conference call in a quiet space arc required Jim to be incredibly stupid.

Hate how contrived the Jim plot is now. It was barely even an arc, they just seemed to mention it in passing.

How has no one commented on Oscar Angela yet? As much as people say they don't care it should still have a pretty big impact and I'm kinda interested to see how it pans out.

Is Jim's idea supposed to be good or bad? I can't tell from the show (although from the one senetence description we got it seems like in the real world it would be destined for failure) and it seems pretty relevant to whether he's being immature and just hates his job, or really expects this to be a big thing.

And 100% agree on the bit about not being able to find a quiet place - did they just forget that Andy is gone so his office would be free?

Seriously.
Car.
Conference room.
Office of your boss who's gone for 3 weeks
Utility closet that Ryan worked out of
Annex

Literally anywhere but at his desk and outside on a street corner

jim is used to making calls for his sales in the office, so maybe he felt a conference call shouldnt be a big deal. he did not anticipate that surrounding people would be so curious about what he's talking about.

andy leaves erin behind because hes a ****ing idiot. erin probably got off the boat to buy a six pack or something, andy forgot she was off and launched. then as soon as he saw erin on the dock he knew there was no turning back, partly because he doesnt even know how to operate the ship properly. Something, like that could be an explanation for his ******ed behavior.

Totally agree with the Jan comment. I always sort of hated that relationship.

Jan being crazy was set up way back in S3 when Ryan got her job. She referenced mood elevators and too much wine back then. She dated Michael ffs. Motherhood pushed her to over the top crazy land... All pretty consistent and plausible IMO. Women get weird mid life and after becoming a mom... I'm ok with her being crazy.

Why could they've not made her the boss of Scranton somehow for S8? Maybe too much of her would've been bad, but think the quality would've been much better than it has been with Andy/Robert California

Would someone please tell me the season and episode where someone had to dumb it down 2-3x for Michael abiut having extra funds at the end of the year? I want to say they had an extra 5K and they were thinking about buying a printer.

Well that wasn't hilarious or anything but I will say I'm pretty intrigued where it will all end up. The humor is down but the plot is heavier. And sure that's not ideal for a sitcom but for those of us who have been watching for 9 seasons it makes it worth watching. After all its only like 19 minutes

"Gaying with the senator" made me lol

I liked this one. After 3 years of hating everyone, the last few eps have made me realise I'm gonna miss these characters. Phillis saying "I love ye guys" made me slightly emotional, sad I know.

erin/pete stuff is coming off trite and forced, just a half-assed jim/pam rehash. it's not as godawful as erin/andy was, but why introduce yet another new relationship in the last season?

Pretty decent ep.

Dwight/Rainn was so close to breaking in the final scene, had me laughing.
