Darlene def didn't want to get caught.

I think Sam Esmail wants this show to go 5 seasons.

Dom and Elliot team up next episode.

Thought the whole "I now own DA" hack was stupid. I'll suspend my disbelief, I guess it was necessary to move to where they want to go next episode. Still I really didn't like it. Makes DA seem like amateur organization while we're supposed to believe they're controling almost everything.

Also if Dom still doesn't realize her boss is DA Imma lose my mind. I know Esmail likes to troll viewers but the edit made it soooo obvious that it'll just be tilting if she continues to not get it.

Darlene obv didn't mean to get caught. Wouldn't be surprised if boss kills Dom & Darlene next episode and then suicides. Though that might be too crazy.

Maybe this and every other thing he has done in the series could convince her

so the dark army downloaded malware off elliots laptop just like that?
Mr. Robot Quote
12-09-2017 , 10:08 PM
No, the Dark Army was actually trying to put some sort of software ONTO Elliot's computer, and Elliot anticipated that and somehow put some exploit on there where by doing that, it actually reversed it or some ****. Idk. I listen to the Bald Move Mr. Robot podcast and they explained it. I think the show's consultant for hacker stuff explained it somewhere.

Edit: I didn't explain that well but the way that I heard it explained, it seemed a lot more believable than them just downloading malware from Elliot's computer, which would seem pretty level-1.

i thought it showed them looking at ecoin information files that they took off elliots computer at the end

either way seemed like way too easy of a plot device

Yeah for Mr Robot I thought this was very weak. Other shows I would expect that type of hacker nonsense but the DA would never just plug a USB stick into a computer attached to their network without vetting it.

I like the Darlene/Dom working together theory. Dom seemed to be on to her boss a couple episodes ago.

Painful to end the season so badly

What didn't people like? Seems to be going where it's meant to be going...Price being Angela's father makes sense...Dom now being the FBI mole also makes sense.

White rose's Congo project obviously has something to do with time travel now...notice the Superman scene at the end where he reverses time to save Lois?

1/ Plot resetting to S1E1 is kind of cheap, I can understand why people don't like it.

However, it makes sense in this show. Elliott has come to terms with his plan on fixing the world being wrong, the pain he was causing to everyone was not worth it and the '1% of the 1%' will always find new ways to exploit the masses. Elliott doesn't need to take down 'the eCorpses' of this world, he needs to take down the people controling those organizations and those who are using those companies to exploit the people.

The way it was revealed was also very well done imo, the way this show moves the plot forward is always extremely well written with everything coming together.

2/ WR actually being crazy might also upset some people, since upto now she was always portrayed as extremely calculated & intelligent. Those characteristics and being bat**** crazy aren't mutually exclusive though. Her being a crazy villain actually makes me excited for S4, the show could head into so many directions with that.

If anyone is upset because time travel or we is a thing, imo it's still clearly not. WR is a cult leader that believes her own lies and we have not seen anything that says anything else.

3/ I am kind of tilted with Elliott owning DA so easily, and then reversing the hack so easily. But I guess it makes at least some sense from a hackers perspective?

Not sure what else people would be hating on? I think after rewatch this might be end up on my favorite drama seasons of all-time, next to a couple of The Wire & Breaking Bad seasons.

I also can't believe in hindsight that Price being Angela's father wasn't extremely obvious.

Also, Leon & Irving absolutely killed it.

I had no issues with the Finale, and I thought this season was really excellent.

5/9 gets reset or not really doesn't matter, we hardly see any of the fall out from it except when they are walking down the street. 5/9 did more damage than good for the people Elliot and Co wanted to help. It didn't hurt the people they wanted to hurt to the degree Elliot wanted, those people are rich and powerful, they will adapt and move forward.

Dom got fvcked over pretty hard.

At least WR really believes in time travel and it's not just a con. That little bit of insane is great for a villain and doesn't change the fact she is smart and ruthless.

I kind of thought Price was Angela's father an episode or 2 ago when she got coffee for that one ECorp exec, wasn't sure how it could happen but not too big of a surprise. I liked how Angela wanted retribution and Price told her she has to deal with being con'd for petty reasons.

i hated how easy elliott defeated the dark army and how predictable all the deaths were.

angela/price was the big reveal but I didnt actually care. just doesn't change much or answer any questions

whiterose being legit crazy I do like.
Mr. Robot Quote

The whole "Whiterose is crazy" bit added to the suspense, by creating the possibility that she might potentially kill Elliot and/or Darlene even against her best interest, as argued by Elliott.

(of course we know that wasn't going to happen because Season 4 etc.)

It is still very vague.

The finale episode couldve been somewhat redeemed with a few lines of dialogue. WR going into more detail about her project. Or Angela at least saying what WR showed her.
