I'm really looking forward to this show returning. I've been re-watching both seasons this week and they hold up very well on multiple viewings. I've even noticed a lot of great background stuff that calls forward or calls back to other episodes. IMO this should have returned with Curb as these shows would compliment each other well, also providing LTT with a much needed solid lead-in.

I'm glad HBO decided to not cancel it. It can't be too expensive to produce.

"Fall" is the best timeframe I can find. It was orignally supposed to be "June/July" which is why I assumed it would be premiering with Curb.

This year HBO also has to air Boardwalk Empire, Enlightened, Bored to Death, How to Make it in America, and Hung so I image they'll open up Friday nights again.

late response but all 4 of the half hour shows are premiering in October

Enlightened is a comedy starring Laura Dern that should be on Showtime.

How to Make it in America goes for an east coast Entourage vibe but is mostly bland.
