I’ve been marathoning this over the past few weeks and I finally got to Finding Frances tonight, and he’s calling her on the phone right now. Pretty sure it’s going to take me an hour to get through the final 13 minutes of this episode, this is 100x cringier than anything Nathan has ever done before

I actually think Finding Frances is one of the worst episodes. To me it was too mean spirited and too unlike the rest of the show.

Its not the awkwardness, half the show is that. It's that (in my mind) they are clearly making fun of him while the rest of the show might make fun of people indirectly if it organically happens but that is not the primary intent.

It doesn't matter that much if they are making fun or not.
It's half documentary and half reality show. 'bill' is willingly participating in the joke. He knows it's silly and he still appreciate being the center of attention.
Finding Frances is a perfect ending to Nathan for you.

Shame he disappeared for so long after NFY, but if the quality is this high, then it's a fair tradeoff.
