I watched this ep after only reading the comments the last couple of weeks. lol me. What a mess. Nia is going to get her ass beaten by someone at some point, if she's not a sociopath she's at least a grade A troublemaker. Really don't want to see her on the challenges because I suspect that she'll result in someone likable getting kicked off the show for bitchslapping her or worse.
Continuing my streak of bad ideas, wandered over to TWoP to see how they were breaking this down. Predictably, the mostly cheeseburger-wielding fat chick demographic there had a lot of sympathy for Jessica. Apparently they don't understand that if you are an annoying person who brings nothing to the table it's perfectly normal for other people to not want to be around you. Here is an example:

I must be one of the crazy ones, but I was vehemently on Jessica and Nia's side, and I was totally disgusted by Avery, Ana, and especially that moronic ****tard Johnny. Him calling Jessica fat and ugly over and over again absolutely enraged me. She may be annoying and bitchy, but the poor girl had tears in her eyes and he still kept going and asking to come back and listen to him some more. Jessica is prettier than his "girlfriend" (quotations because they've known each for like 5 minutes and are already saying ILY, what the ****? I can't take them seriously), so he can shut his rodent-esque face up. I honestly hope Nia beats the **** out of the both of them next week. UGH!
The bolded part screams "I am a fat chick who is super jelly of Averey". I can understand people having different tastes etc. but there are zero men on the planet who would choose Averey over Jessica, particularly after what they've shown of each (well Exothermic probably would but other than him).
What I can understand is their displeasure towards Johnny getting involved in the fracas, pulling his junk out, and calling Jessica fat. None of it bothered me because both of these broads had it coming to them but I can at least get where they're coming from.
As for cast movement, there was this comment:
Quote:
They're all stuck together in a small world where their moves are all limited. They can't go places that the crew isn't permitted to film so they have to follow production's orders and are stuck with one another. I can see reverting to high school antics if you've been stuck with someone like Jessica and lack the maturity and life experience to deal with her in a humane and civil manner. I know I would live to regret treating another person that way now that I am no longer in my early 20s. Nia involving herself and blocking the bathroom door put up red flags for me. She knows that Avery either has to ask her to move or force her way out of the bathroom, which could result in expulsion from the house/show. She stands there, smirking and egging Jessica on.
I wasn't aware that the cast had limited options, which makes the Jessica fatigue even more understandable.
