Then Eliott takes over (Mr. Robot says sg like "Can someone talk sense into this woman?") and Mr. Robot is then in the background eating popcorn.

I thought it was really showing in this last episode.

Also there's a scence in the episode before that when Mr. Robot actually talks to the other guys, when Eliott is out because he's in withdrawal. During that scene the other guys are saying they should leave him behind, and Mr. Robot interacts with them. Turns out, a bit later, that this scene was all in Eliott's head (it starts with that, then goes on to other dreams and flashes).

I'm pretty sure we'll have the "reveal" soon enough.
What we really threw me tho was the girl was talking to Mr robot and she said if you take one step closer I press enter. Then Elliot walks up and she seems to be calm all of a sudden.

You guys realize that the "Evil" corp is not a real company don't you?

look back to the first ep.

I totally agree with this. Tyrell treats Elliot like an ant whose desires are simple and irrelevant. He is seeking to gain control of E Corp for some nefarious reason - a super villain on his way up.

Isn't "Tyrell" also the name of the mega corp in Blade Runner?

Yeah I know what the plot is. I don't know why I should care about this storyline though. It's the B Story that does not seem in any way related to what is going on. That might change and the stories will come together but right now I don't care about it and the show would be better off without the distraction.

I agree it feels very filler-ish at the moment, though I thought the scene itsself was pretty awesome. It will probably feed filler scenes in the next few episodes and in the last episodes of the season everything will come together.

Something like they finally have the chance to take down E Corp if they do x but his ex-dealer girlfriend gets abducted by gang leader at the same time.

I agree. Like the show isn't complicated enough without this. They're going 12 different directions at once.

It just stands for a random mega-conglomerate in the universe of the show, but giving it an actual name would probably open them up to potential lawsuits or something? So they chose to have it named Evil Corp because that's how Elliot sees it.

Pretty clever way of solving it. Though the logo really looks like Enron so maybe they aren't afraid of lawsuits afterall. I guess they wouldn't be sued by Enron tho .

They're literally using the Enron logo.

The debt notices the blonde looked at said "E CORP". The company is not named evil corp as was explained but its clearly a real thing

Elliot's speech belittling the fat lonely cat guy was some Walter White esque darkness.

Really enjoying this show and considering it's on USA I am completely mind blown that network would greenlight this show. Well done USA

Evil Corp logo reminds me a lot of Dell with the angled E

USA has been looking for something special since Burn Notice and Psych left. This is the closest they've gotten so far. Jury's still out on how special it is.

Nice little homage to Risky Business at the end there. Tangerine Dream song with shots in the subway and the philosophical voice over. Portia Doubleday kinda looks like Rebecca Demornay. And even the pimp Joe Pantelono character was involved in that scene(the drug dealer). The drug dealer callls him at the end after he has taken the most important thing to him(not the crystal egg, in this case, but his girlfriend). Let me know if I'm missing any references.

Evil Corp logo is a tilted rectangle.

Enron's and the E in Dell are tilted squares.

Just sayin' (nit version)

I loved this speech but also lol'd at the same time. I just kept imagining him saying that to me and when he was done just looking at him right in the eye and saying "Yeah duh. I already know that. Now on with the tour."

Thought this was the weakest episode. Sure, it had drama but I thought it was poorly executed.

Still, incredible episode. And the score is great. It is like the Reznor scores, but that's a good thing! Perfectly fits the tone.
I find the score distracting because I am just constantly analyzing how similar it is to things Reznor has recently done. Feels very hacky. But if you aren't a Reznor fan boy like me it's probably enjoyable.

Weakest episode? That was the most intense episode yet. This gets better and better every week.

Reaching BrBa levels of drama.

I liked the interaction with the CTO teasing Tyrell to take his $1,000,000 Patek Phillips as a consolation prize to pay off his mortgage.
