Another brutal episode. Elliott walking in on that suicide was ****ed up, but I saw it coming a mile away when she asked to go to the bathroom.

Really curious how they're going to resolve the Dom & Darlene situation. Feels like it's too soon for either of them to die, but don't see a way out. Only thing I could possibly see is that Elliott somehow succeeds in luring Vera & Dark Army together and they take care of eachother?

Next episode 100% going to be the reveal of Elliott's third personality, right?

That episode was super tense. The Dom/Darlene scenes were amazing. Darlene erasing her phone at the end felt exactly like that amazing ending to one of the BB seasons where Walt saves his life in a similar-ish fashion.

Elliot doing that to Olivia was the tipping point....like she said, Eliot is a monster.

Why didn't Darlene just start shooting when taxidermy lady walked in??

I wanted to see this too, but Darlene was busy initiating the phone wipe. She also had no idea who taxidermy lady was, or what the consequences of shooting her would be. Could she be so sure of her skills to take out all three with head shots? She's no Leon, after all. Taxidermy lady would make an excellent shield for the DA guys to hide behind and return fire.

Vera’s presence has been pretty unnecessary, but the first scene with the Christmas song playing was worth it.

I hope the end of the series sheds light onto that character. He’s kinda garbage

He “crossed the line” by giving a sad girl a nice holiday buzz. Caffeine and opiods. *chefs kiss. I hope someone crosses the line with me

And i get it millenials. The worst thing he made her do was have to talk on the phone

Do we have evidence Elliot actually drugged her drink?

Not that I 100% doubt it, but there is a non-zero probability he just told her he did.

I thought about that too. Was hoping he would say so after he got what he wanted. But she would know, right? Also, what if she just said yes to his request, then he drugged her unnecessarily.

scene with leon in the coffee shop (rebranded to "tod's coffee" from ron's coffee from the pilot ep) implies elliot got the drugs from him, then elliot proceeded to order the coffees.

If he didn't drug her, episode doesn't make sense.

1/ Elliott contacts Leon to get something illegal from him. Granted, we never actually see what it is.
2/ Elliott buys coffee and goes to girl's place. Right before Elliott buys the coffee, Mr Robot asks Elliott "are we sure that we are going to do this?", implying something really bad.
3/ He tells girl she's been drugged.
4/ She runs off & kills herself. (would she do this if she didn't feel te oxy? Given that it was mixed in her coffee, it would hit her very quickly, right?)
5/ Rest of the episode there are multiple scenes with Elliott & Mr Robot discussing the morality of whas he's done, and Elliott is visibly shaken.

Only thing that somewhat makes sense is that Elliott bought a gun from Leon, which was the back-up plan if trolling her that she took oxy didn't work.

But then girl' suicide is a very drastic reaction, and the scene right before Elliott buys the coffee doesn't really makes sense (not that dramatic to try to leverage someone that she was drugged and then pull a gun on her if she doesn't buy it).

Elliott justified it in his head by grouping her together with the worst of the Dark Army who execute people without thought, but obviously that isn't good justification. Maybe he saw something when he hacked her that made it clear that she was a terrible person? But that seems a stretch. Elliott just losing it imo. Past few episodes made it clear that everyone is losing it and is terrified of the dark army.

Also seems obv to me that Vera is at some point going to collide with a faction of the Dark Army, and will save Elliott or someone else that way from certain death. But I have given up on believing I can accurately predict this show, prolly wont happen .

On josh wigler and antonio mazzaro’s podcast, they remarked on how funny it would be if elliot just came in and thwarted vera in 30 seconds. I concur

It's not possible that Vera is Elliot's Third Personality, right?

I'm so confused lol

at the end of last season, there was a post credit scene where vera returned to elliot's building, only to be greeted by darlene

this season, darlene tells elliot that she informed him of vera's return, which started the whole third personality theory (elliot & mr robot both deny hearing this from darlene)

similar to when darlene tells elliot that he in fact jumped out of his windows as a child, but elliot remembers it as his dad pushing him

This show is the goat, this forum must truly be dead because that was the greatest hour of television iv ever seen... I really disliked vera's character until this episode and was not expecting anything like this at all after last week's episode.

Spoiler:
I am not surprised that Elliot was abused by his father, but the way it was revealed was powerful, emotional and incredibly well executed. It explains a lot about his character, and there were definitely some hints throughout the series. Darline and Angela where probably abused by elliot's father aswell.

JUST WOW.

That was an incredible hour of televesion! I'm going with the theory that the third personality (if there is one) is a young abused Elliot full of rage who is about to unleash it on everyone who he thinks has done him wrong.

yes, explains a lot:

- pilot ep first scene is elliot taking down a pedo coffee shop owner
- WR and angela's meet, where angela meets a young probably traumatized version of herself, the lolita book and the weird sex questions during the scene (do you cry after sex? etc.)
- darlene's hacker alias dolores haze comes from the lolita book
- elliot kissing darlene by mistake first season
- edward (elliot's dad) freaking out about elliot using the camera before their altercation in the bedroom

i want to abandon ship on the 3rd personality (saying that elliot is dissociative and that's why he loses time, turns into mr. robot during trauma and mr. robot was lying "to protect" elliot about a lot of stuff) but then the scene in the boardroom earlier this season still doesn't make much sense

either way that was easily top 3 ep for this show and now elliot is ironically more alone now than ever once krista kills vera

Agree. Season 4 e7. Amazing acting, writing. Psychological high intensity. Explains a lot of the entire series storyline. Grade A.
