I thought at a point, that Elliot was gona be dead.
I thought them fighting internally like that was the final shark jump. There is literally no other way they can combat each other
But getting them sort of on the same page rendered that moot.

Hope that’s not the last we see of Irving, loving his character this season

Another excellent creative episode. Having Elliot fight with himself was a daring idea that only this show could pull off. It reminds us of times of our own conflictions in our personal lives.

The last twist in the episode raises all sorts of issues especially of how much Mr Robot, Angela, and Tyrell are being used and/or double crossed by White Rose when they think they are integral to the overall plan. Who actually were the persons who did that to all the other buildings?

Tyrell told Irving that to do the plan he needed "the full force of the Dark Army".
and I believe that is when the plan changed to all the buildings

I kinda feel like the show is going to become very stupid once we find that out. Like, it seems they've alluded to maybe it being some time travel thing or just something weird where they could bring people back from the dead... I dunno, seems like it can only be something dumb and not fit in this show's universe.

Still think it's a propaganda prop of WR to create a following willing to die for the cause.

big crush on Angela

angela is hot

was also prepared to be very disappointed that they went the "eliott figures things out and saves the day." great pivot

hoping all the "we can change what happened to our parents" talk was just whiterose blowing smoke to get them to do what he wants and not some weird scifi stuff

I think alternate universes is what Whiterose is going for. Not sure if we will actually see anything happen in the show, or more of just a hope/dream that allows WR to gain a cult following

Are they going to have tyrell blame trenton and mobley?

she's brown enough

That was a really great episode. The whole show would have been worth it just for the opening scene.

Don't sleep on Knight Rider, yo.

Really loving this season. 3 fantastic episodes in a row. I also went from secretly rooting for DA just to see the chaos they can cause to #TeamDom in 1 episode and I don't even mind. Usually when shows completely shift gears the quality suffers and I lose interest, but this still hasn't happened for me in Mr. Robot.

This also is the first episode in a really long time (prolly since Breaking Bad) that made me really feel depressed. At least we got some spot-on analysis from Joey Badass again to not make it too dark.

Great episode...I was on the edge of my seat at the end, knowing what was going to happen but still hoping that it was a misdirection and Trenton and Mobley would be ok.

Two questions:

Wellick IDs Trenton and Mobley - when did he meet them? Was he told to ID them?

When White Rose was telling ECorp CEO why, what did he mean by "the plant?"

And by the way, did anyone else notice but me that the episode before last - following Elliott and Angela in the ECorp building was all one shot??

I assume he was told to ID them. Sucks that their fate was sealed by Trenton being unable to drive. And "floor it" was stupid, it's not like the guy is going to chase them on foot even if she keeps it under 30 MPH.

I assumed they were talking the Washington Township plant, the reason why Angela was a problem for E-Corp in the first place.

Lots of people talking about it. There are cuts but they happen in places where no one is in the shot.

Things like that seamless sequence are a huge part of what makes the show so good, and they often fly under the radar. Like in this ep there's the part with the main FBI guy where the dramatic score build and builds and then abruptly stops when he turns off the camera in the interrogation room. Or the shot of the TV reflected in Angela's eye. Or even the way opening scenes get briefly overexposed when somebody's name is displayed. There is so much thought and intention in every detail.

Oh yeah! The Angela eye-close up with the square in it - it looked like a weird stitch until I could tell it was a reflection.

Under-rated direction they gave to Portia Doubleday too.
Act like a mentally handicapped 5 year-old.
