Also, why exactly does Price care about Angela in the first place? Was it just to have a token of someone affected by Washington Township, for some sort of leverage over Whiterose?

I was very glad they shed some light on the early Congo reference.

I think there is so much more to the backstory of Angela and Elliot, which will eventually explain their importance.

I thought this was really good. I usually hate flashback episodes as much as everyone but this answered so much stuff and added a lot to the overall story. It also felt like everything was planned like this from the start. Might not be true, but it's still rare for a show to create that accuracy.

Probably one of the best flashback episodes ever? Only Lost comes to mind.

Am I overlooking something or did this still not answer where Tyrell came from? I guess they're still saving that for later.

I didnt like that we had a Tyrell episode and we really learned nothing new about Tyrell. he hates his dad? okay.
we just sort of nailed down that he is a psycho I guess.
A supercut of Tyrell scenes from season 1 would be fun to watch.

And they didnt have to spell it out for people that Cannavale was lying when he told tyrell he had kids. it was rather obvious in the moment.

I wouldnt compare a flashback to events in the chronology of our story to flashbacks in the LOST universe which took place before the events of the series. just not the same thing at all.

I stuck with this thru all of season 2's weirdness, but I'm out after 10 minutes of ep 1. Starting to seem more like work than fun just to keep up. gg Mr. Robot!

I hated half of S2, but no issues this season. Wasnt a fan of the flashback but it wasnt bad or haye inducing.

I'm not cool with season 2. But I liked season 1 enough to power through season 2's AIDSness (with a little help of deliberate fast-forwarding the cringiest parts, of which there were many).

Season 3 is definitely an improvement, and enjoyable. I wouldn't go so far and call it great, but that's a matter of taste, of course. The shoe-horning of the Trump stuff is cringy and unnecessary, though.

For the non-BB heads out there. It was interesting that they included Irving watching BigBrother 17. Because on that season they did the twin twist, where Liz and Julia would switch in and out. Same appearance, different person, like with elliot/robot.

Also, vanessa rousso is on the screen

Not sure why so many people dislike this show, I don't think this show has done anything wrong yet. With all the mystery it's of course possible (even likely) that they ruin it at some point, but hasn't happened for me yet.

I also love the theory that WR's machine is just propaganda to recruit followers (sect/cult like).

Next week is apparently without commercials. Trailer looks dope.

I thought the writing was exceptionally poor. and the inciting incident, Elliot waking up, happened purely by random.

I'd be more okay with it if Elliot were doing "mind/asleep body/awake"
