Tyrell knows Eliot set up Colby. So that's his dirty little secret that Tyrell thought was an act of revenge.

As for them working together all along, I think Tyrell may have helped them on the initial attack which happened in ep1, that'd be good enough reason why Tyrell's threat of revealing Eliot's secret was empty.

But that's as far as it goes as he was pretty clueless about everything else going on until he found the fsociety file.

Tyrell told him that in Steel Mountain bathroom, and I'm pretty sure he said he had zero interest in exposing that secret. So, I think it has to be something else, as he'd wind up complicit in the whole thing since he knew about it. He's now fired, so he really can't say anything about that as a person of interest in the murder. It would end up being an A+ frame of himself, based on how everyone could use his ambition against him to connect the dots that he did everything bad that happened to E Corp.

I'm personally more interested in finding out what happened to the drug dealer, and how a prison having who knows how many people being hacked leading to the escape of numerous people isn't front page news.

I am guessing Tyrell meeting with Mr. Robot means that Tyrell knew Elliot before Elliot created the Mr. Robot personality. Tyrell probably never realized Elliot was being schizofrenic?

It also makes a little more sense that way that Tyrell tried to recruit Elliot since it seemed kinda weird when we first saw that scene? But if they knew each other for longer it's a bit more plausible.

Also, do we know what Tyrell holds over Elliot in the Mr. Robot meeting (=we as in the viewer)? I don't think we do but I have no idea .[/QUOTE]

The first episode shows that Elliot and Tyrell first meet while Elliot is already employed with allsafe. Remember Tyrell catches Elliot in Steel Mountain where they go to eat and Tyrell confronts Elliot about framing the CEO dude. The meeting with Tyrell and Mr. Robot may be part throwing the audience off for the revelation of the Mr. Robot illusion and part Elliot's dad actually knowing Tyrell before he died.

I think Tyrell's way too young to have known Elliot's dad before he died.

Tyrell was with other Evil Corp dudes though if I remember correctly, and certainly around other Allsafe employees? So it could be that they faked not knowing each other (only Tyrell would have to fake it tho).

A few weeks back, we had hundreds of people informing us via Twitter that ProtonMail was being used by Elliot Alderson from this summer’s hit TV show, Mr. Robot. With the highly anticipated season finale airing tomorrow (8/26/2015), we are finally able to share the backstory behind how ProtonMail ended up in Mr. Robot.
Basically the production crew did their research

What matters the most is that they wouldn't be forced to butcher the ep like it happened with Hannibal.

In a spoiler free way what happened to Hannibal?

Does it only air in the USA? Some tv shows air hours after their USA release in my country (True Detective Season 2 for example), and I live in a ****ty small European country. Maybe another country will already air it this week?

The cynic in me always thinks this is also a great PR stunt. They should've aired the premiere tonight . But I guess maybe the scene is actually really similair and they made a good choice.

So good candidates for who will be shot? Imo Tyrell or Mr. Robot.

Don't want to politard but it always fascinates me how some firearm murders get so much attention in the USA while yall shoot & kill a good bunch of people every day of the year.

I never saw the killed Hannibal episode, but it was something to do with killing kids (or kid killers) around the same rough time period as the Sandy Hook shooting. I think more than anything, it was probably just a terrible episode with a terrible premise and Fuller wanted to bury it. He just used Sandy Hook as an opportunity to do that.

There's definitely some pr value factored in there. I guess I can wait a week.

Really sucks that we have to wait a week but we should understand that the network has to be sensitive to all factors. Like has been said earlier that everyone knows one week heals all things.

I mean this in the most respectful way possible towards today's victims-- unless there was a scene in the Mr. Robot finale where a reporter is murdered by a disgruntled coworker on live TV, I feel like they could have aired the episode.
