I love the Gideon character. In a show that's all about 2 groups of people fighting over what's right, he's completely outside of the conflict and yet the truest moral backbone of the show. Despite that we've had to watch his company collapse around him and Elliot, who he was desperately trying to reach out to and protect, turn on him. Gedion coming to the realization that Elliot was actively working against him/AllSafe was a great scene.
I also really liked how the breakfast scene with Gideon and Harry was shot and think it's a good example of a lot of what the show is doing with camera work.
Gideon is shot from above in almost total darkness while talking about how the AllSafe issues are going to destroy him. Then the camera flips around to Harry who is telling Gideon how much he loves him and that everything will be okay and it's shot at face level with lots of warm light. Almost in a too-blissful Pollyanna kind of way, if you want to read it like that.
Really drives home the juxtaposition in the characters' mindsets.
