Not sure why Dom would believe Irving that the Dark Army isn't interested in them anymore, anyway.

There’s opportunity to explain it away as a sim or something but come the f on

It was like they forgot to include the scene where Dom wakes up from dreaming.

I have a lot of grievances but one is: do you care about your family or not?
That’s my least favorite thing in narrative fiction is when someone is trying to convince someone of something and they say no no no. And then they change their mind on a whim. Dom does it twice in this episode.

+1

Even if it really was coincidence, how could they possibly not suspect something? That their first instinct wasn't to get out of there is beyond me.

Which makes me think that this:

will actually not be the case simply because it would be too stupid writing-wise. Maybe the Dark Army really doesn't care about Dom & Darlene any more, as stupid as that sounds; but with a DA leadership change for example that might be at least somewhat plausible?

btw is WR in custody or free, or is this unknown?

I thought it wouldve made sense if she just got murked after believing him and leaving the airport

There’s a 0.0% chance irving would COINCIDENTALLY be in the same airport as her at the exact moment. But if there is a .01% chance, it’s because he’s following her to murder her

I thought Dom was actually dead on the plane when it was taking off from some poison on the book pages. I had to rewind it to see if she was breathing bc the chance encounter with Irving was so odd.

Yeah i know most things portray “falling in love” in a bs way. But i almost want to analyze dom to be a psycopath for “loving” this person

But interpersonal connection is a theme of the series so there’s no way it’s intended. Come on though

i thought this was pretty well explained. dom fingers herself to darlenes interrogation for a year so now they are inseperable. if you dont like it youre not a homophobe, youre a homodisgusted, which is worse.

It’s well explained that she would leave her family and everything she knows to be with someone she finds sexy?

I mean, i would, but i tend to think of myself as a pervert of sorts

Some of you are misreading the situation. As explained albeit somewhat indirectly, Dom's family was in an FBI safe house and she wasn't cleared to see them because of her recent Dark Army history, so she was staring at a few months of being isolated from them to a near certainty, anyways.

Agreed the Irving stuff was stupid.

Bailing on the investigation ensures that she will never be cleared to work with the fbi or see her family again

We just don't know where there is yet.

When the screen went red I thought the episode was over, but there were 17 minutes left. Then it seemed like we were going past 10PM, but it ended abruptly.

Quote:
Alderson loop is a rare slang or jargon term for an infinite loop where there is an exit condition available, but inaccessible in the current implementation of the code, typically due to programmer's error. These are most common and visible while debugging user interface code.
Last iteration was E-Corp, now we're on F-Corp.

So were there A-D-Corps (previous iterations of Elliot) and is that why he doesn't remember Darlene (she doesn't exist in this iteration) in season 1?

Show's almost over, been a fun ride.

F-Corp = Friendly Corp? Maybe there was not an A-D Corp?

In an earlier season, Darlene tells a story about how she was kidnapped, and speculates what her life would be like if the police hadn't found her the next day. But Angela calls Elliot an only child. She would never have met Darlene, but surely Elliot would have told her about his missing sister.

Don't think the ending was necessarily "the show going SciFi" (quotation marks because imo this show is already pretty scifi without this twist).

They can still move to so many places from here that aren't scifi, especially since we know Elliott is an unreliable narrator, and has dropped us in crazy worlds (one included Alf!) before.

This could all be in Elliott's head as he thinks he's about to die.

Anyway, if we go the scifi route, what stood out to me:

*Darlene not being there obv is significant.
*Elliott & Tyrell were referring to more adventerous & risk-taker lifes, referring to their lives in E-Corp world? Tyrell might be self-aware about his past and is trying to find ouf Elliott is there yet?
*What was up with the blood & alcohol reference?
*Elliott wakes up at 11:16 AM at a work day? As CEO? Time never moves on from 11:16 AM it seems, we see a clock much later and it shows 11:16 AM as well.
*Angela's mother picked up and hung up on Elliott. That was obviously there for a reason.

One thing I am very certain of:

Darlene doesn't exist in the F-Society world, the game Elliott played was about not leaving a friend behind. Elliott will have some sort of choice and will choose not to leave Darlene behind in this F-Society world.

Spoiler:
Every car is white? Speculation?

I also rewatched the S4 trailer and I think there are one or two scenes in it that we haven't seen yet:

Spoiler:
One I'm not sure of: The final shot of the trailer, did we see that shot? Was it part of the "van in the woods" episode where Tyrell died? i don't remember that.

One that I'm quite sure of: Elliott walking down the hallway that we saw a few episodes ago when Mr. Robot walked into the board room.
