Very good start to the final season. Trying to figure out who the “third person“ is going to be quite interesting. The Don thing is very strange.

Here is my theory. I’ll lay it down.
Elliot is an example of WR’s project working.
WR had made promises to Angela that she could see her dead mom again. That they could be together.
Elliot sees his dead dad again, all the time.

great ep, the olivia storyline was well thought out and executed, especially this late in the show's run. that relationship is obv doomed (shayla 2.0)

speaking of shayla, vera is the man and quite possibly the most insane character on the show...was he in the van at the end of the ep, or was it DA?

tyrell is so gay for elliot lol

the 3rd personality wasn't directly addressed, but going back to my post last week about the 3rd one being the arrogant prick (sam sepiol) it looks like there's more evidence to that theory, with krista being terrified at the sight of elliot, and how he turned on darlene and grabbed her to the point it hurt (after regular elliot and mr. robot couldn't get thru to her)

read some stuff on reddit about the time on WR's lover's watch right before he kills himself is the same time the broken clock is set to when elliot and darlene go to their mom's to collect her stuff. also they stay at the "Hugh Everett Hotel" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugh_Everett_III

but the one time passcode shown in the episode doesn't work!

Yeah, it should only work for 60 seconds after it was generated.

I thought the first episode was phenomenal. The Freddy Lomax sequence was one of the best the show has done. The second episode was fine. Most recent episode was great, especially the Whiterose origin story and everything involving the Cyprus contact. Re: Grimes, haha, yeah, I like that song and it worked perfectly for the moment.

I'm going to miss this show.

Odds Tyrell aint dead?

Imo he's 100% dead given the whole buildup of the episode and the ending with the music, Tyrell walking towards a weird purple light, and the screen fading to white instead of black right? Episode makes no sense he's alive. Only reason would be Esmail wanting to troll us for a week, but episode will just end up feeling so weird if that's the case.

I enjoyed this episode since the dialogue was all very good, and it allowed for some nice character development (everybody is messed up, depressed & frightened of the DA). I'll be annoyed by this episode if they run out of time by the ending or if the ending is a mess, though. Feel like the time could've been used better.

Did not understand why DA dude killed himself. DA likes killing themselves, but don't understand the upside of committing suicide at that moment.

Also, I noticed the episode title before watching ("404 not found") and thought to myself "this is going to be another Alf episode isn't it" .

I really hope this show ends well, because I will probably never rewatch this if the ending sucks. Still have never rewatched an episode of Dexter, and S1-4 was some of my favorite television.

Also, to conclude : (no spoilers in the spoiler, don't worry)

Pretty WAT episode indeed and not my favorite of this season but I still enjoyed it plenty, especially the Darlene stuff. The final Wellick moment was neat but it seemed like he could have gotten a better send off.

The cost of the gasoline (or something they bought at that store) coming out to $19.86 seemed non-coincidental as I think that's probably Elliot's birth year.

Also, Virtual Realty obv play on words.

Not sure if this stuff is just Esmail and the writers having some fun or whether there's real significance to it.

2 guys think they've killed someone and are going to dispose of the body, but it turns out the 'dead' guy is still alive and he escapes. And then the 2 guys spend the rest of the episode being lost in a snowy forest. This all seems strangely familiar

I noticed way too late that this episode was entirely silent. Like after a good 25 minutes in. Only 2 lines of dialogue, "we don't need to talk" and "it's time we talked".

Fantastic episode, but like last week I hope they didn't sacrifice air time for these episodes and we end up with a rushed ending.

Still 8 episodes left, plenty of time. I remain hopeful .

Also red stairs shot was amazing.

I thought to myself during the chase sequence "how the hell did a relatively small show like this pull this off in NY", seems like it wasn't easy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehxlJDUp6gM
