They also have started other episodes this season with flashbacks of how various important characters met for the first time and the dang thing opened with a long shot on a Thanksgiving decoration when it's summer in the show.

Show is still bad, how do you burn an episode this late on a freaking ensemble episode? Why should anyone care about any of this ****?

Ending an episode with a big twist and then not addressing it at all in the following episode is a technique you can use to build tension and anticipation, but it's not a one-size-fits-all dramatic device. We're getting down multiple levels of "wtf is going on here" with the audience.

The Eliot/Tyrell subplot and the FBI/fsociety/Angela subplot have become completely disconnected, it's like they didn't know which direction to take this season so they split the baby.

fly,

it's not clear if you think there are 10 episodes this season, but there are 12.

You realize episode 7 and 8 share the same timeline? They will address the big twist in the next episode(s).

It's all connected, maybe you should pay attention and wait for the next episodes.

1-3 dragged a bit, 4 started to get good, 5 and 6 were excellent, 7 and 8 were good but a bit of a step down.

overall i'm really enjoying the season and i'm more pumped than ever. with that said, trenton untying the woman was the only time i have rolled my eyes at this show, but it was a huge one.

I know. We're now 2/3rd of the way through the season and we have sort of made some progress towards revealing that Tyrell is or maybe is not dead. Which was the cliffhanger of episode 9 of last season.

That's not propulsive storytelling. This is all wheel spinning bull****. That Angela's boyfriend was an FBI agent was such a halfassed reveal nobody even mentioned it in this thread.

Like,

Do they? The needle in that one dude's finger says otherwise. What happened to tie them together like that? There's been like one scene of crossover between the two subplots. 8 episodes in. One scene, where Eliot and Darlene came up with the pointless FBI hacking scheme that ended up paying off in a sputter of some half-assed ripped from the headlines Snowden-bait.

the timeline is strange.
it definitely wasnt clear on my first viewing, but from what im seeing the Angela stuff hops around

the scene where she talks to her dad (July 7/episode 7) I think is chronologically after the scene in the bar (July 4th/episode 8).

I liked the episode, it's much better now that Elliot is out of jail. So the investigation committee is in bed with E-Corp? Angela better have made a copy of that flash drive or she is an idiot, just plaster copies all over the internet and at every major news outlet.

With Elliot and Mr. Robot working together, should he know what Phase 2 is?

What is E-Corp exec play with Angela, what is his side project?

I loved this episode, I'm starting to regain my trust in Esmail that he knows what he's doing. Though it's really about time that we get actual answers to the key questions and stop advancing the plot while remaining in the dark (what is the plan Dark Army/apparantly Mr Robot are executing, WHERES WALLACE TYRELL AT , what does the FBI actually know).

That scene with Elliott seeing Mr. Robot in the next subway was really well done.

I think this episode was meant to show Elliott and Mr Robot haven't started working together at all. Mr Robot is still playing Elliott, he just convinced Elliott so that he would start working again, and Mr Robot could advance "Phase 2". It's all still really confusing though. White Rose seems to be the key player in whatever "the plan" is, especially after the scenes with the CEO this episode. Yet Mr Robot seems to be just as important especially now we know he is aware of the next steps of the plan. It's weird that Elliot/Mr Robot and White Rose are so distant from eachother if that is the case. White Rose acted as if Elliott was just a pawn when they met.

I think the biggest question is does White Rose have a vagina or did he tuck his dick between his legs to pee like a woman?

I had this same question. I still don't know what Whiterose is.

Also, I did like FBI lady telling Anglea that yeah we've been monitoring you for a long time because Ollie told us all about the CD that was used to hack Allsafe.

Oops.

This is becoming a straight up LOST thread, circa 2008. We need answers!

Im sure the payoff will be worth the time we've put in.

Thinking about it being Mr Robot's plan has to make you think about his motivations. We really only know that he wants to bring down the top one-percenters.

Theyve heavily foreshadowed bitcoins and or e-coins are becoming a staple of the economy. Maybe he wants to hack the e-coin market.

So did the Warden (Ray aka Craig Robinson) get arrested or was he still there as shown when they introduce him as the Warden during the episode?

Lost had several very strong seasons people just remember it poorly because of the bad stretch post-writer's strike and the way it ended so awfully.

We'll see if Mr Robot can stick the landing, but we're what, like 19 episodes in? When Lost was 19 episodes in everyone loved it, they hadn't even opened the hatch yet.

Last episode was very strong, but Jesus Christ stop stealing from ****ing Fight Club.
