I don't ever think he's come across as "superreal" at any stage.

This show is funny....

It is like a mix of the films "A beautiful mind", "Fight club" & "Hackers" with the series "Sherlock" (UK version).

The only show I would actually spend time watching aside of Sherlock.

Quite hilarious the baddies' company is called "Evil corp". It is just such a blatantly obvious name!
They could have named it "World Charities United" or something just for the sake of deception.

In some ways the story is a bit banal.

When a TV show comes out in 2015 speaking about the top 1% of the world controlling the world with money and putting everyone in endless debt - and being unbeatable - you know the plot is old news. I also doubt only one company holds all the details of debt owned in the whole world as presented. It a bit saddening cos you know from the start that the hero won't beat them. Almost sarcastic to watch him try and fail.

It would be more fun if the hero was on a mission to crack down on tax havens and save the world from poverty or something. That would be a bit more forward thinking and optimistic.

It is amazing how hard this is for people to get.

Ha, called Shayla dying. Now back to drugs and self pity. Seems like this season won't be too focused on taking down E corp but instead Eliott vs Vera and Tyrell's claim to CTO.

How about we leave ultra liberal politics out of what right now is the best show on TV,

that might be the worst consecutive trio of posts made in this forum.

1) captain obvious reporting for duty
2) failure of watching tv
3) politard bull****

I'm sure you didn't want to sound like a total dip**** but in case you did: plz go back to Tumblr.

1) The show clearly doesn't take place in an exact copy of our world so who cares

2) Even if the whole 1% thing was so old (it's not) that doesn't mean there can't be a show about it. Give me a good television show with Hitler as the villain and I'll be entertained as **** as well.

3) Nobody will click your links because this isn't our first 5 minutes on the internet.

Pretty dark episode. But it's got me intrigued. The scene between Tyrell and the CTO was just about the best scene of the year on TV. I was riveted.

How quickly Justified begins to slip from your memory when it's gone...

But that was an outstanding scene.

Tyrell has gone full on Patrick Bateman, love it too.

It's like the writers were like let's put Tyler Durden and Patrick Bateman in the same universe and figure this out.

All,

Big fan of this show. It is super popular among tech industry people out here in SF area. Not surprised to see online forum nerds liking it too. Curious if this will get broader mainstream interest too.

Guy has this show and Emmy rossum too. Living the life!

darlene meets cisco outside of "hurst library" (if you stream the episode on usa's website you can clearly see the plaque as she walks past at 25:45) but where exactly is this place? i lived in various parts of nyc for many years and have no idea where it could be, while google turned up the public library of hurst, texas. can someone who knows (or who's better at googling) tell me where this building is?
