I really liked how they ended it: the abrupt retirement, the last visit to his dad, the move out to nowhere, and then the implied menace of the last scene. Very nice, great series!

Sounds like whatever project he wanted to move on after Mr Inbetween just isn't working for him and on a few occasions throughout the interview talks about the possibility of a 4th season or film which he really left the door open with not killing Freddie. And really I think deep down he misses the character. Fx would be crazy not to fund a 4th series or movie - prefer 4th season.

Def would want this to happen,

I told a few friends to watch this and everyone of them said top notch and was surprised they had not heard of it.

I really enjoyed the series and a couple of very touching moments in it too..

Seemed very non committal to me. Interesting he said any continuation of the show in movie/series form would most likely be set in USA.

Probably wanting to get picked up himself to act in a series in the US afterwards.
