Mr Inbetween - Page 2 - OOTV -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I just finished both seasons and think it's excellent, like nothing else really. I thought the tone toward the last of season 2 did get a little uneven but that's gonna happen when a show is ambitious as this one. Can't wait for season 3, see what Ray is up to now.

I love how every time he greets somebody it seems fresh, like it's a totally new experience meeting another human, and I guess it really is.

The lead actor is the creator and writer for the show and the movie it was based on(The Magician). Highly recommend this show.

in one of the episodes ray is watching a documentary on tv. it's just a background thing when he gets a phone call. but the documentary is insane!

i highly recommend if that's your kind of thing

Does anyone know if this is the last season because it didn't get renewed, or the writers/producers/whoever are done?

If the former, I'm frustrated that this doesn't get a renewal consider most of the **** TV we see coming back year over year.

Yeah I think on Hulu after the episode airs on FX it shows that one and the following week(even tho they aren’t available on Hulu yet). So I saw two episodes last night and thought they were the last two. Thank you, I’m happy now lol.

I was lukewarm towards this show after the first two seasons but S3 has been incredible. Is there really a big gap in quality or did I just for whatever reason not appreciate the previous seasons enough? I guess I should rewatch anyway.

Yes it is excellent, I think it gives away where the series is going though so would probably avoid until this (final) season has aired.
