You'll notice that I used 1st place votes as a tiebreaker where available, including to crown the winner. I'll post some more detailed stats in the next few posts.
For now, bring on the discussion! What placed too high/too low? Predictions for 2018? Westworld to repeat in a GoT-less and Leftovers-less year?
Lastly, remember that a lot of people use this thread to choose what shows to watch next, so please keep it spoiler-free.
1. The Detour
2. Silicon Valley
3. American Vandal
4. Ozark
5. The Fosters (COME AT ME)
6. How to get away with murder
7. Shameless
8. The 100
9. This is us
10. Mindhunter
What a putrid list I've put together lol. 99% of my TV watching is when I'm playing poker so it's almost all low content
1/2 of my list didn't get a vote other than mine hahaha.
Definitely thought American vandal would do much better, I thought that was a really strong show.
Pretty good list, top three and 6 of top 10 same as mine. We recognize Mr Robot much higher than the critics. The Leftovers is mislabeled as AMC in the reveal, though it seems to be tallied correctly in the network rankings.

i noticed 1-2 people in the noms thread didn't like it at all, so it's clearly not for everybody, but i just think it's more a case of not a lot of people watched it yet. it's not a well known show and it doesn't have its own OOTV thread so it's flown under the radar a little. 2-3 more people voting for it could have easily propelled it to #12 or so.
Ozark > Black Mirror ? Ouch. Thought Ozark pilot was super dark and promising, but show defo didn't live up to its first episode.
Hey I got the top 3 right thought (in a different order).
So I was the one who gave YTW a first place vote. Disappointed but not surprised to see it outside of the top 20. For those who are watchers who didn't have it on their list, was it due to the perceived decline in quality between s3 and s4?
Only 4 of my picks made the top 20 which I kind of expected. Lots of stuff I hated did well which I also expected. After 3 episodes of the Leftovers I couldn't stop watching it soon enough. Really don't like anything about Mr. Robot, The Expanse, Black Sails or Black Mirror either. The rest of the top 20 I either haven't seen yet or have no problem with them being there.
1. Vice Principals- Great dark comedy 2. Bojack Horseman-Great depressing comedy 3. Love Great emotional comedy
4. Curb Your Enthusiasm
5. Broad City
6. Silicon Valley 7. Better Things Great single-parenting comedy
8. Rick and Morty
9. The Leftovers
10. Master of None
Shows that are worth watching that got little to no votes.

Similar to Game of Thrones for me. They were in my top 10 last year and every year they've been around before that, but I thought the writing had some big issues this season (sorry fsoyars).

I was lukewarm on The Leftovers most of the way, but the last season really grabbed me and elevated the whole series in my perception. I think it's the best series finale since The Shield.
I haven't watched The Leftovers. Possibly I watched the first episode & then didn't bother continuing. Probably should give another go.
Season one was merely okay, season two is insanely good, season three was very good. There is a huge quality gap between the first season and the last two.

From what I've read from you, I don't see how you could possibly not love them both.
Dark not even top 20? mabye to recent or subtitles scare people off but its the best show i've watched in quite some time, and I do watch alot of shows. Its really really good, I am a sucker for time travel though.
