Jigsaw very disappointing. They should have made him WAY uglier like the comic. Main villain is decent so far.

Up to about episode 4(Police station) and I want to punch that girl in the face, her character is annoying as ****. I like everything else though.

These cats aint sitting around watching TV or chit chatting on forums.

It's absolutely bizarre, the show intentionally builds up the reveal of his face with **** like the early scene where he turns away from the doctor to take his pills then he's just.. like a 7.5? Maybe the actor is incredibly vain or something, but Bernthal wears more facial damage cosmetics than he does!

I'm not done yet but besides the Russo/doctor subplot this is by far the best Marvel show yet. The action is absolutely movie quality, highlighted by




And yeah the show clearly exists in a vastly different universe than ours. Pretty much every episode there's a mass shooting with a bodycount so high there'd be a nationwide manhunt for the suspect, except in this case the suspect is a guy who was already national news for murdering dozens of people, escaping from prison, then murdering more people.

The Rio Bravo episode was very well done but I'm pretty sure the locals wouldn't need to debate whether or not to call the state police there, they'd come to you.

I really liked the first ep of season 2. I thought season 1 was okay/good, but way to slow paced for this kind of show.

I thought the first season was better, but it's close and I really enjoyed both.



Also, I might be in the minority but I really liked Thomas Jane in the role. Bernthal is better. I assume eventually the character will be portrayed again, by yet another actor, whenever Disney has fully milked all the happy go lucky Avengers type stuff and decides to go in another direction.

I have only seen the first episode. I really liked it, but I guess I was disappointed by Frank's relationship. I know they had to do something to drive the plot. But in the comics the Punisher is all about the mission.
I liked it though!

Bernthals jarhead is superb.

A really interesting thing about this season, especially the (superior) first 2/3rds or so, is that it doesn't really scan as a The Punisher storyline, it's more like a Jack Reacher book or any random post-2007 Liam Neeson movie.

Meh.. 4 episodes in and i dont find it that interesting. I'll keep watching though, the action scenes are some of the best i've seen in tv shows.

Update: 7 episodes in. Madani is the worst, such a bad actress and her constant traumatized flashbacks are so annoying. She's even worse than Karen in daredevil. The psy-russo is the least interesting storyline so far in a marvel show, and it gets soo much screentime. Russo's face is a joke after what he went trough in that brutal final fight last season.

Also the girl is annoying and the main villain really flat so far.

I really wanted to like this show but eh.. Berenthal is really good in the role (though i dont need a reminder about is family every episode) and the action scenes are really well done. Everything else is very bad imo. First episode this season was good though.

Same as Eltin. Action scenes are great but the forced angst of Russo and Madani is just awful to sit through. Just stop already.

first two episodes of the 2nd season...are meh

More silly tropes than there should be. Damn, some of these
geniuses make the dumbest decisions.

The "Kid" was annoying, wanted someone to backhand her a few more times.
Madani sucks and at least she got her azz whooped multiple times.
Russo had some great plastic surgeons cuz he looks like a model compared
to how he should look.

I like how they had female assassins.

The "preacher" badguy reminds me of a youngish Sean Penn.
