I liked the preacher dude in The Collector/Collection films but wasn't crazy about him in this, although I did appreciate his badassery.

I quit. The scene in episode 8, where russo threatens to kill the psy with the constant thunder going off was the worst i ever saw. I cant take it anymore.

What a whaste of Berenthal as the punisher and pretty amazing action choreography. Sorry for the rant.

I liked the preacher and how it ended for him but wasn't a fan of how it ended for Frank though... slaughtering a bunch of teenage gangbangers.. What next? A better ending for him would be going back to see the girl he met at the start so it finishes on a note where he returns to some sort of normal life.

isn't that the point they were trying to make though? there's no going back for frank. he is what he is and in the end he finally accepts his punisher persona and the last shot is like classic comic book punisher

To tie in with my complaint about them keeping too many characters alive, look at what they did with Russo. They had him survive the first season to be a pointless secondary villain who mostly mopes around and then bizarrely the show tries to redeem him a little because he's in love with fake Harley Quinn? But he also ran a hit squad that murdered a bunch of innocent people and he tries to kill Modani, there was no arc there.

I really thought he and Pilgrim would team up, it seemed like they were headed there, but no. Pilgrim's underworld connections were just the setup to a fight scene, Russo's gang was just doing unrelated freelance crime until their attempt to bully the Punisher into being afraid of the dark(????) failed and they all left town.

Also Modani was written to be an absolute trackwreck of an idiot, but I don't think they intended that. Sort of like Daredevil's dip**** partner they don't seem to be able to write "flawed sidekick" without going into "full on liability, both in the narrative and in the meta of the show existing as entertainment"

Just finished, I thought it was pretty great for the most part. I wish there were more seasons of this and Daredevil, but I expect not

I think you're perhaps missing what went on there, I thought 10 was one of the best episodes. The afraid of the dark part was supposed to fail, Russo purposefully sacrificed all those squad members of his to sell the chase to Frank and "break" him by having him believe he rage-killed the innocent hookers - his new girlfriend's idea from getting Madani to blab when drinking wine.

I did miss that, because I pretty much spaced out whenever it went to the doctor's apartment. That's even dumber than my guessed at explanation for what is truly baffling behavior.

I'm about 6 episodes through and am underwhelmed. The overall plot and direction of this show is pretty meh to say the least. The villains are horribly written and boring and I don't really care for any of the other characters. I'll finish it out but pretty much turn my brain off anytime I see Russo.

Finally watched last couple episodes even though wasn't really feeling this season. More of the same. A few good moments but a lot more really stupid moments. It is a comic book adaptation for crying out loud, I'm willing to give a lot of lattitude but overall just too much "Huh? What the ****?" for me this season.

Overall I liked the season but not as good as season 1.

Almost certain to be cancelled which is a bummer.

okay, I bailed after the 6th episode. It's just not at all interesting to me.

I liked this season, but only barely. It had the elements of a good season, but the last quarter setup and execution just made everything fizzle.
