In the book, The Man In The High Castle is the author of a novel about how the Allies could've won, he wasn't collecting magic films(that he made? The show is real confusing on that point. Where are these films coming from?).
Just finished, and this my biggest question.
At first I figured the Resistance either knew
1) where the films were coming from or
2) where they were going
but it seems like, they actually don't know either? Who are they actually delivering them to? someone who then gives them to Hitler? Is Hitler the one leaking knowledge of their existence to the Resistance? That's...confusing.
So, after S1 I really have no idea what's going on, just in terms of some basic questions.
And then the last 2 episodes obviously rip everything open. Before that, you could have assumed the films were just propaganda being produced by anyone. But now you just have to assume they are being delivered by someone(s) who have developed the ability to travel back and forth between alternate realities. So now the show is mystical - whereas the book just plays it straight dystopian. so...bizarre.

Interesting premise...did Julianna really see Trudy from an alternate universe bringing films over?
didn't piece together that Trudy is one of them.
also, the mysterious person that Julianna 'recognized' from the film means Julianna has some connection to the other side.
anyways yeah this show is now Fringe (which I didn't finish)
