Yep and before that an appeals court ruled the confession was voluntary. This is one opinion about how the interviews were conducted, by one particular judge. It's not proof of innocence nor is it proof the confession was coerced.
Even this judge said there was no statement by the investigators that represented a promise of leniency, which is exactly what the state court of appeals found. This judge however took the strange position that the cops "cumulatively" deceived Brendan because of his low IQ and their pattern of acting like they were on his side.
