Dude its on netflix. It's incredibly easy to rewatch the scene. Everyone acts shocked and strang(iirc) even says the hole is a huge breakthrough and they may even say that it's not normal. The truth is I don't care about the exact scene as it was incredibly obvious the public reaction to the blood vial.
The scenes they choose to include IS there narrative. They don't need to include a voice over or anything.
Trust me, a large % of people thought the hole in the vial was a silver bullet of sorts for the case. Check early in this thread or check reddit.
It really isn't up for debate (Hence why your "you are suggesting, I am telling is so lulzy).
