proven by both Teresa's and Bobby's cell data, they were 8 miles west of Averys on 147 at roughly the same time. Why was Bobby calling a gun shop at 3;02 pm, was it a hustle shot or was Bobby with Teresa, this is the last time Teresa is heard from alive. Scott was in the area too, he waved to Bobby on 147, was Bobby with Teresa, driving her suv, as seen by a witness, or was he following her in his blazer? Scott, Bobby and Barb are lying, Blane proves it in his first statement to investigators, saying you should talk to Bobby, he seen Teresa leave ASY. Steven Avery is innocent, Teresa left Averys, period !

Teresa can't be excluded but doesn't seem to be positively identified to the exclusion of all others.

Even Brendan was able to work out how he was manipulated by cops into repeating their story, but a lot of guilters are too thick to figure it out.

Interesting article about the forensic 'science' industry:

...a looming tension hung over the conference — the nagging knowledge that all is not well in the world of forensics. Despite the image peddled by popular TV shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, which portray forensic experts as crime-fighting scientists with unparalleled gifts of observation, the field has become increasingly embattled in recent years. Crime labs have come under fire for mishandling evidence, and high-profile exonerations have exposed how “junk science” has sent innocent people to prison. The bad press has led to heightened skepticism of forensics, forcing practitioners to defend their reputation.

2015 was no exception. Soon after the AAFS convened last February under the banner “Celebrating the Forensic Science Family,” a series of controversies cast further scrutiny on the field. There was the abrupt halting of DNA testing in Washington, D.C.’s first independent crime lab — a three-year-old $220 million project whose director was forced to resign amid damning audits. There was the ongoing fallout in Massachusetts over a crime lab chemist who falsified thousands of drug tests over her nine-year career. And there were the usual headlines exposing miscarriages of justice based on junk science: a Texas man freed after 25 years in prison due to bad “bite-mark” evidence, and three men exonerated in New York after more than 30 years based on a faulty arson investigation (one died of a heart attack in prison). Among the record number of cleared cases in 2015, according to the National Registry of Exonerations, 45 involved “false or misleading forensic science.”

But perhaps most devastating, in April 2015, the Justice Department issued a bombshell announcement, formally admitting to a disastrous mishandling of evidence that lawyers, prisoners, and even its own forensic experts had pointed out for years. For more than two decades, as the Washington Post reported, FBI analysts doing hair-fiber examination “gave flawed testimony in almost all trials in which they offered evidence against criminal defendants.” In a post-conviction review of thousands of cases dating before 2000, the Innocence Project and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers had so far discovered exaggerated testimony by FBI analysts in a staggering 95 percent. This included 32 defendants sentenced to death, 14 of whom were executed or died in prison before the problems were publicly acknowledged.

It is probably a good idea for Americans targeted by law enforcement agencies to run their own tests to avoid being the victims of incompetence, junk science, and corruption.

Educational interview. Thanks for the link.

The state of forensic science used in our courts is pretty sad.

Finished part 2 last night..

Impressions remain the same, the stuff with BD was really interesting and I found myself kind of rooting for him even though my opinion of him is not the best I do think in a strange way he is one of the victims in this case. Not because of how law enforcement handled his multiple confessions but because of how he was treated by his own family and more specifically avery.

Zellner I find even more detestable than before.

Some people just can't stand the idea of getting innocent people out of prison.

It takes all kinds, I guess.

That isn't my problem with her obviously. If I said I didn't like Hitler would your response be "some people just don't like animal activists"

Clearly my problem with her is her propagating conspiracy theories and blaming clearly innocent people for a crime her client committed. The worst thing about it is at this point she has to be self aware of what shes doing.

That's a problem, because she doesn't believe her client is guilty.

You are basing your disdain for Zellner on a false premise.

While I don't share the same disdain for Zellner I would say I did lose some respect for her as a lawyer throughout season 2 of making a murderer.

In the first episode she came off really inspiring and I was very excited to see her craft in action and how she would re-investigate and dive into the finer details of the case.

It reminded me of a scene in a movie of a really strong pep talk from a top football coach who's team was about to take the field against the defending champions. A true underdog story but in MaM once the team gets onto the field they realize that their coach is just totally full of poop with no real strategy planned and is just pinning their hopes to gadget plays and thrown hail marys.

That's how many of her wild theories and finger waving came off to me.

She's completely out of her element. Most of her successful exonerations came from pre-DNA cases (usually based mainly on witness evidence that was recanted or refuted by DNA testing) or from latching on to cases after most of the legwork was already done.

There's a reason she ignored pleas to take this case for years before watching Making a Murderer - whether she ultimately took the case because she was duped by the documentary, for the publicity, or both, I'll let you decide.

I see no reason not to simply accept the obvious reason Zellner took the case: she sees that an injustice has been done.

True enough!

Some people like the corrupt status quo.

Others want true justice for Teresa.

FFS!

Evidence already presented in this thread showing misfeasance and malfeasance of WI crime lab (drunk on job, fraud, incompetence), FBI (ditto), local sheriffs, and DA (drug addled sex addict, stalker, and narcissist) to choke a horse.

But ya, nothing to see here...

LOL!
