Since I had been watching the Shield (Vic Mackey-main character) lately, when that Mackey versus pedophile scene came on in Legion, I thought I had accidentally pressed a button on the remote, lol. That scene was really out of the blue. Vic Mackey was well-intentioned, but found himself doing bad things in order to stop criminals, and to support his family, and to just survive in a very messed up world.

Vic killed a cop in the 1st episode, he was a bad guy.

I thought this episode was awesome but then when it gets back to David is the villain it is so strange and off putting to me.

So was the grotesque demon from S1 Farouk?

Jenny is the name of the character Katie Aselton (David’s adoptive sister) played on The League (FX)
I immediately thought of her.

But making boring ass Sydney into some sort of protagonist is a bridge too far

I’ll remember this show for its straight up strangeness, but it’s also the little things like the episode descriptions and the previews starting with “apparently on Legion” “evidently on Legion”

I cant even guess how we’re going to wrap up tonight

I thought the end was magnificent. Its cultural impact was small but i will revel in a rewatch someday

You could possibly trace the evolution of super hero shows back to Legion if they become less and less traditional.

I know I will be very excited if and when I see Dan Stevens pop up in something again

I just watched this courtesy of having to shelter in place and I thought it was excellent even if season 2 was very muddled. It was a very enjoyable and unique experience.
