Saw the trailer the other night and didn't know it was The Leftovers until near the end, but I was thinking man, this new show looks fvcking awesome with the guy from The Leftovers.

I feel like this show struck the perfect note in terms of being unmemorable enough and having enough of a delay between seasons that when it inevitably ends in a deeply silly and unsatisfying way it won't hurt my favorable opinion of the show nearly as much as what happened with Lost.

ya looking at that thing i don't know how they're going to get from A-->B-->C--->[...]Z, etc but i'm ALLIN to see them try

i feel like the show will answer some questions, or at least give ppl the ability to fill in some of the blanks for themselves, if they want. from the trailer it just appears as thought they're circling back to some of the random breadcrumbs from earlier based on AUSTRALIA, so there should be something satisfying in the way it concludes. but as someone who has The Sopranos ending as GOAT, i'll probably be fine with it no matter what.



kinda funny how some of the music is just old Max Richter stuff, like "November". also thought that his song "Sarajevo" from the same album would have been a nice fit, but they haven't used that one (yet?). also, his "Spring 1" re-composition, if there are any happy moments to come. lol

I just marathoned both seasons over last few days. I have to say this show doesn't get enough love. Very interesting, mysterious, emotional ride. And agree with the music is very good as well.

I guess the only complaint is its very slow to tell you why this is all happening, what is happening, why they smoke, are the whites right/good(guessing they are but the show seems to bounce back and forth sometimes making them look good then bad. Like why did Laurie leave them if they good?) or wrong etc... Hopefully in the final season we get some closure but either way i'm fully invested in this show.

Now i have to find a show to match my interest in this show since i have to wait until april 16th then have to wait week to week once it starts.

the latest trailer is kinda spoilery (contains more info than i would have expected, unless maybe it's all from the 1st/2nd ep), so if you're sensitive about that kind of thing, maybe don't watch

I'm an idiot and just had the 16th in my mind thinking it would be out today only to be really disappointed.

In for some really depressing scenes with awesome Max Richter music over it.

I marathoned both seasons and can't wait. Miracle Texas was such a great setting

Super excited to watch this tomorrow. Was driving around tonight and turned on NPR radio. Recognized a clip of the character who plays Matt Jameson (the preacher) from the show right away. They were interviewing the actor who actually has a British accent. TIL.

Yeah Christopher Ecclestone is a Brit. Tbh I was wondering if his accent was convincing. I didn't think so but thought that might because I know he isn't American.

rewatched the season 2 finale last night to prepare, I'm psyched!

Very excited for this tonight - it's currently a 98 on Metacritic and it seems critics got the first 6 episodes - http://www.metacritic.com/tv/the-leftovers/season-3 (nothing spoiler'y in any of the blurbs)

Says critics got 7 Eps, presumably everything but the finale. DL must be very proud of it or something.

What an opener.

This season is going to be absolutely insane.
