Re: Karl Pilkington - an idiot abroad
Karl: I did the proper land dive.
Ricky: Did you do the real one or the childs version?
Karl: It was about 5 foot...
Ricky: 5 foot! I can high jump higher than that. If I punched Steve in the face and he fell over, he's already broken the record for what you did. You fcuking stupid twonk!
^ By far the funniest bit of the first episode.

I haven't watched it yet. This one he goes on the Trans Siberian Railway? Should make for pleasant viewing.

Re: Karl Pilkington - an idiot abroad
Loved this weeks ep. I am really surprised that Karl would rather be buried alive than experience zero gravity.

Dwarf village was so weird but so funny at the end with the dialogue on the phone.

Great ep. Can't remember the exact quote but "I'm meant to be in zero gravity and i'm talking to you about donuts" had me in tears

What was the labrador line? I forget.
I liked Karl's line about Stephen Hawking. So much win.

Re: Karl Pilkington - an idiot abroad
Karl Pilkington may be the greatest comic character that's ever existed.

Re: Karl Pilkington - an idiot abroad
can't check it exactly now but it was when karl was detailing the reasons why he couldn't go up in the plane.
'they say i've got a swollen throat....a glowing nose, and wet ears, or something'
'? you sound like a ****ing labrador!

Re: Karl Pilkington - an idiot abroad
my problem with this so far (other than the continuation of the 10 year shift of karl trying hard to be funny rather than just naturally being funny), is that it seems to flit around too much. gimme 3 things an episode rather than 6-7 plz!
the centrifuge segment should have been awesome but it just seemed to be over before it began, and it looked like they didn't really even juice the G force up.

Re: Karl Pilkington - an idiot abroad
They didn't juice the G force up because Karl's a wimp. I also agree with you Yeti on him trying to be funny rather than just being naturally funny. The good 'ole days of him just being mind fcuking dumb on the podcasts are long gone.

Re: Karl Pilkington - an idiot abroad
The podcasts were already him trying to be funny imo. The XFM shows are pretty close to the funniest things ever though, much thanks to Karl of course.

Re: Karl Pilkington - an idiot abroad
Funniest episode of Idiot Abroad and one of funniest things i've ever watched had me in absolute stitches throughout. The bit where he says his shadow makes him look like a div and then 'i look like an acorn' had me crying. Love it love it love it.
