The wing walk was obviously fantastic, one of the highlights of the entire series, but what really cracked me up was Karl in the crowd of dudes at the leather night just looking up at the camera like "wtf is going on, how did I get to this point in my life?" Haha
He found some joy at the top of Mt Fuji.. mostly to do with the fact that he invented the arse pillow and little to do with the scenery/accomplishment.
That fish thing must just be the Japanese trolling westerners.. seriously.
I was late to the party but I'm nearly caught up now. Just two more eps to go. My favorites I guess were alaska and africa but I saw them both tonight.
I liked the hippie guy that he trekked alaska with, and that dumb song he sang about the caribou and the salmon. also it was funny how he picked on karl and laughed at him and made him talk when he had no breath. also karl got mad because he had to wipe his butt with snow. and then the guy laughed at him again.
also i like how in africa, he was willing to eat **** but he wouldnn't bungee jump. what an absolute plonker /ricky
They should make one more season of Karl touring the us of a. His interactions with English speaking people are better than anything else.
While that's true on the whole, the scene where he's explaining to the Chinese guy (I think he was Chinese) the name of the program is one of my favorites.
For those in the US that waited season 2 starts on the Science channel tomorrow night so set your tivos. Might want to double check your guide as mine didnt have it listed as a new episode listing the UK airdate as the original air date.
Met the great man himself and got some photos with him at a book signing in a the Watford Asda carpark today(they really pulled out all the stops for it - the signing was in a scabby old caravan). Was amazing, especially since I always thought I'd never meet him given how grumpy and reclusive he is.
