Great episode. This has been 4 great episodes to start this season. It's so good to see Markham (Sam Elliot is a bad man) and Loretta, the interaction between them is going to be great. Raylan going to see Dewey was great too.
I've also noticed Ava's accent seeming more pronounced this season. Her wiki page says she grew up in Georgia, so she must naturally have a southern accent.
The male version of the bird is the one with all the bright and attractive feathers in order to impress the females and attract sexual partners.
Thus, a guy who is trying to impress with his appearance is essentially a peacock.
Yeah this was my understanding of that scene. It was pretty funny how mad he got about it too. Also pretty good how he just starts wiping his their nose on their clean laundry.
+1 on Ava's accent being drawn out. I've found her to be a weak point of the show and have wanted to have less time devoted to her for a few seasons now.
E1 this season was actually a bit slow for me this year, but the last 3 have been amazing, the 1v1 scenes of Raylan + Boyd, Raylan + Avery, and even Raylan + Choo Choo are so tense and amazing.
that aplexed joke seemed forced to me, just too much crowbar on that one. Maybe all those kind of things felt forced this ep.
kinda lost interest. Tired of Ava, sick of Boyd being 'in love'. I was hoping he was just playing it up, but it looks as he is falling for it.
enjoyed badass boss denying his request to speak freely.
also cattle prod scene didnt seem complete - hardly torture to get info, couple of taps with him going "ow", and they leave. I understand it wasnt Jack Baeur but com'on
