The hit reality show will return for a fifth season on Thursday, January 5 at 10 p.m. EST and will follow the raucous roommates as they return from Florence, Italy, and bunk up in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

Per usual, there will be no shortage of drama for series stars Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, 23, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, 29, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, 25, Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio, 31, Deena Nicole Cortese, 24, Vinny Guadagnino, 23, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, 23, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, 25.

I do not see this season to get any better than season 4 and 4 was absolute garbage. I will probably watch the premiere and that's about it.

Based on the previews I have hope for this season and am expecting some good episodes. I think it will easily be better than season 3 and 4(yes not hard to do I know)

I skipped the 2nd half of S4 and have no plans to watch it but will watch the beginning of S5. PLEASE DON'T SUCK.

More excited for S2 of Geordie Shore at the end of this month, though!
