The MVP thing is new this season, but Vinny's been GTLing with the boys since the show started, they all have. He might be latching on a bit, but with Ronnie being stuck in a soap opera and him still being single, you can't blame him for jumping on the MP bandwagon and going out with them more often to get laid. "Pathetic" is a wee bit strong of a criticism.

Pauly actually makes a reference to "MVP" in season 1, one of the later episodes

only this year it deserved a huge segment with them shaving each other's necks, etc.

several musings from the after show...

angelina: "my family loves me and my boyfriend loves me and that's all that matters." -sounds like an afterschool special.

angelina using the word boyfriend 7 times in 4 sentences

angelina: "me and my boyfriend are moving in together and we are in love"
host: "how long have you two been together"
angelina: "2 months"
then a moment of pause by the editors. love it.

Not true. Vinny said GTL was stupid. He said something like he'd rather do Basketball, Beach and Shoot pool or whatever

i don't think he said it was stupid. i think he said he'd be down for it if it was like basketball and the beach. and he didn't get along well with Sitch in season 1 because i Sitch was trying so hard to establish himself as the Alpha and i don't think Vinny really took too well to that. i think now he's kind've accepted that Mike is the main reason the show is so successful and is ok with that.

is it confirmed she won't be in season 3? i thought they signed contracts for S3 during S2?

i'm also surprised she left. i thought she would have in her contract that she was obligated to stay until the end? i'm sure there's some sort of clause in there about it after she peaced in S1.

right i mean finacially its a really bad decision for her to leave especially the way she did. Not only is she not enjoying the 15 minutes of fame and the gravy train that is jersey shore but if your any employer who would want to hire her after watching this? It was almost like she literally tried her hardest to look as bad as possible.

Ronnie introducing the fighters was possibly my favorite moment from this entire season. He's so much more enjoyable when he's a secondary character instead of being the captain of the Sammi/Ronnie failboat.
