The things that make this show great.
this give more evidence though to the people in the "situation is trying to hard/not being himself" camp because that line is used by everybody for a couple years now and is totally unoriginal. in fact you could listen to lil waynes anthology of music and im sure what he said is almost a direct quote from at least 10 of his songs (or most other rappers now for that matter).

The money he's making now.. I expect more from the Situation, too. Rehashed lines from the past aren't gonna be good. He's gotta keep it fresh.. like the hair.

so was vinny's "victoria should have kept that one a secret" line that got love on here

just because someone uses an unoriginal line doesnt mean hes trying too hard/not being himself

Immediately after getting blown in the taxi, the lyrics to the song were, "cause you just blow him." Nice touch by producers.

The best way i can describe it is that in season 1 we were laughing at Situation, now in season 2 he's trying to make us laugh with him.
meh, he seems the same to me but I think peoples perception of him is different because in season 1 he was just a "douche" nobody and now he's a "douche" somebody making $6 mil a year, so I think people just are referring to that inherent jump he made in the social ladder that makes them "feel" like something is different. even if he were acting different, i doubt it would be result of him "trying too hard", more like a direct result of him actually becoming a millionaire and celebrity in a very short time span and legitimately just being different in some regards.

Just had a chance to watch and skim the thread:

- Ppl who think Situation is overacting this season, I mean, youre right, but I thought it would be worse. So many ppl on reality shows arrive and act out from the get-go, that the fact that this guy is legit famous, making red carpet appearances, etc, his behavior really isnt that bad. Like getting the chick a taxi, that was only bad bc it was on camera/tv. If that was your buddy you'd be like, 'yeah, good move, standard.'

- Not to get all OOT in this bitch but that blond chick- not the tranny- was very unattractive. Seems like in Miami u could find a rack like that pretty frequently w at least a face above a 3.

- LOL at the tranny's face being blurred. I'm sure it just wouldnt sign the papers but w/e that cracked me up

- Sammi continues to be the worst character currently on a television.
First of all, I HATE when ppl pull that **** like, 'if u know something u have to tell me.' 'If we're friends u have to tell me.' Ugh I hate ppl that put others in that ****ty situation and she keeps doing it to people.
Also, what's actually her deal? She says like 'I want to thank whoever sent me the note, I appreciate it.' Then is like 'Why is everyone a pussy and why can't u admit to sending the note.' Does she think its a lie? That's what I don't get, she doesn't believe Ronnie does she? Ugh Sammi go away.

- Jwoww is an idiot

- Vinny, vinny, vinny. Don't ever insert yourself or get involved in dumb bitches' business.

This thread is almost as bad as the mad men and breaking bad thread. You guys realize you're watching a show on mtv right? This isnt AMC, its not HBO. Stop dissecting dumb **** like the way mike kissed "vinnie's girl" or the way mike smokes a cigarette lmao

Pretty much this... I don't think anyone has truly changed character besides Ronnie who did it specifically to spite Sammi after watching himself in Season 1 and realized he looked like a bitch.

Let's face it, most of us on here are cynical mother****ers who assume evreryone on this show realized they stumbled across the gravy train and are now acting in accord with whatever behavior maximizes their marketability, even if the majority of them seem far too stupid to act in such a way and deviate from the stupidity of their behavior that got them on the show in the first place. Most people commenting on the show these days attempt to link that behavior to this belief. The Situation pretty much can't do anything on this show anymore without someone pointing, "yeah, whatevs, he makes $5 mil a year, he did it on purpose."

If it's this bad now, Season 3 will be unwatchable.

Honestly, i think Situation is the only one who's really changed. Maybe most of them, the girls especially, are watching what they say a bit more so they don't look dumb, but Situation is the only one who's outwardly changed the way he acts between the seasons. Vinny and Pauly are the exact same. Ron is different obv, but its not out of character for how you could see him acting in S1 if he hadn't ended up with Sam.

I wouldn't fault them for acting a little differently though this season as there's obviously much more visible reminders this season that they're big stars, more cameras, more security, vip areas, bottle treatment every night they go out etc.

Also, I personally had no problem with the "call a cab" scene, seemed pretty standard for situation and wouldn't have been out of place in S1.

I say blame Sitch less and blame MTV more. Every episode they cut threw like a weeks worth of footage. Sitch and Pauly basically admitted that during Miami the MVP crew were going out and hooking up with girls every night. They even had a chalk-board tally up in the hall way.

I aslo dont think Sitch has changed that much. Its just now that hes famous he gets into way more 'situations' then he use too; thus, more footage to edit threw.

Who cares? We enjoy the show and that is why we discuss it here. It's the number one show in television right now so obviously more people enjoy it than you think.

I think its because after they watched the show and then realised they'd been saying her name wrong the whole time!

They showed the episode the other week after she gets punched in the face, and i crack up every time i hear Pauly D say

"i think what happened to snuckers brought us all a lot closer to snuckers!"

Still, there are shows like Big Brother and True Blood to compete with. I mean I love JS and all but I'm not buying that it's the #1 show on TV using any reasonable benchmark.
