The stuff they talk about in the after show sounds like a much better show than what they air. Jersey Shore needs more focus on the Smash Board.

Even the After Show is awesome when it's just Pauly D and Situation talking about creeping, then gets boring when the focus is on Snooki and JWoww. When will MTV get the picture?

Yeah, "I can care less"...there is <0% chance that she will use the correct term in her lifetime unless thoroughly coached first.

Also, kind of a shame she was let off the hook. At least the way editing showed it (so we have to take it fwiw), hours passed and she opted not to clean at all, and then when confronted about it decided to escalate things. Too bad Situation saw that as a battle not worth fighting because she was asked to clean up and didn't and THEN got confrontational instead of apologetic, and as such excluding her from the dinner would have been perfectly acceptable.

Instead he decided that politically it wasn't worth it - clearly the best move from an Alpha Male perspective, but it doesn't solve anything long-term. It was also unfortunate because it empowered her with the notion that she was owed an apology when she clearly was not.

Some people in here need to get off Vinny's dick. He's basically just riding The Situation and Pauly D's coattails. He would have been the odd man out if The Situation hadn't had the foresight to setup a plan B. And when they're discussing about what to do with the 4 girls Vinny was like "Uh, we have to pick 3, one for each one of us..." No ****. Then the Situation stepped in and took control.

The gap between 2 and 3 in the rankings is still pretty big.

On the After Show it's mentioned that Angelina's probably getting more ass than the Sitation and Pauly, but why does MTV edit that all out. I think it'd be more entertaining than the same boring crap we get from the girls week after week.

Because it has very little to do with any story and she probably isn't funny about it at all like the guys are.

A MUCH bigger highlight imo is the fact that Situation and Pauly seemed to have 4-balled several chicks together!

Right. All the women are pretty much worthless now that it's clear that when they go out they're in VIP roped off areas or have security or whatever so Jwoww can't beat up some random bitch that calls Snooki fat.

Honestly, a show that focused on MVP+Ron and had none of the girls couldn't possibly be less than 150% as good as the current show.

Hippopotamus scene was amazing. I really liked how Vinnie instantly snapped and whispered at Ronnie the instant he had a chance. Even Sitch was trying to warn Ronnie as soon as he walked in the door.

I don't like Ronnie at all and he's obviously a giant douche but I like the loyalty there from the fellas.

Vinnie is just spectacularly unremarkable, at least this season. He may be a cool guy to hang out with but he doesn't seem to be particularly funny or clever or annoying or anything. Probably makes a pretty good wingman but I get the idea that he doesn't have particularly mad skillz with the ladies. Even his "butterface" line from the previous ep was more dickish than funny considering the woman had come back into the store to give him her number (not to mention that her face wasn't the problem in her case).

He is the classic case of someone who is a "condiment", meaning on their own they don't bring much to the table, but can serve a purpose in a group setting.

Vinny snapping his fingers at Ronnie was pretty ****in' funny.

That's one thing that they're overdoing a little bit this season, the meanness towards the grenades/landmines/hippos, whatever. Last year's grenade was spectacular, both not particularly attractive plus being remarkably pushy and combative. This year it seems like they realize that we found it hilarious, so now they're just running with it to the point of overkill. The hippo might not have been a size 2, but she paled in comparison to the fat chick from last season who fought on the balcony. They either need to find true grenades and hippos to bag on or just embrace the fact that they're bonafide celebrities and can afford to be *******s to random 5's because there are tons of hot chicks throwing themselves at the three of them, this sort of half way in between stuff isn't as good as last season. I mean, the hippo put up zero fight and went right to sleep, I want a girl who's rejected to take it personally and make good television.

Yeah, its pretty obvious what happened. He went home after season 1 and had to watch the patheticness unfold on national tv while getting ragged on at home by all his friends. He comes back in season 2 with an agenda to redeem himself by looking like a pimp who isn't p*ssywhipped then ends up looking like a huge douche instead.

lol ive wondered this same thing. It's something that everyone knows but just doesn't acknowledge out of respect for her being family. She's basically the grenade of their group.

Vinny actually seems much funnier and coolier in some of the Jersey shore dailies that I've watched -- although very very boring on the show. Maybe just the editing? Bad variance?
