Yea pretty much. It's like noticing 1 guy taking his shirt off on the beach when it's 100 degrees out. And really, none of these people are famous enough to draw a lot of attention. It's not like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise taking a shirt off.

I'm assuming this shop is not near the bars so that means the likelihood of being reconized is even lower. If people were piling in, don't you think MTV would show that?

Also, when were they down here? It was a pretty cold winter by Florida standards. Ft. Lauderdale had snow reported 1 morning.

I think they went down in April but I know that they went back to NJ to film more for next season... will season 3 run right after season 2? or maybe a couple months break?

I can see that. But how come they get apperance fees and money for going to bars/clubs? Or is that totally seperate from MTV and not taped?

They get the appearance fees because places can advertise that they'll be there and make a fortune. Once people get in the door, they're really not a huge deal. I've bumped into Ronnie twice since the first season ended. Once it was on flyers and on the radio all week and the place was mobbed. Once I think he was just there and most people weren't even paying attention to him.

Who knows what nonsense got written into their new contracts after the success of season 1, but for the most part the only MTV related appearances they did were things like Leno, GMA, Kimmel etc.

The club/bar appearances were on their own, of course it is technically MTV related because that is where they got their fame, but it wasn't taped for the show or anything, doubt MTV gets a cut of any of that.

The Situation was supposed to have a guest spot on Bones on an episode shot in the Jersey shore but it fell through bc of so much MTV red tape.
