Yeah the show can't maintain its form if the camera crews are out in the open for hours at a time.

Yea not sure why they go to the mall so much. Funniest bits are when they do stuff in offices, White Castle, the movie theatre, and focus groups. Small one on one interactions where the subject comes to them. Not sneaking up and whispering stuff into their ears. If some stranger came up and whispered something in my ear, I'd be pissed or think I'm being mugged.

They blurred out more faces this past ep than usual. I'm wondering if it's cause those people didn't give consent or if they were just smiling/laughing from the beginning, making it obvious they knew who they were.

Lost it when Sal called his mom to yell "I hate you Mom, you're a bitch!" followed by calling her back and giving up

I haven't seen the show, just figured it was more crap like all the other reality crap...and I haven't read the thread, so I apologize if this has already been mentioned...

...but I recently watched an old Joe Rogan podcast, and Doug Stanhope (a guy whose comedy I really admire) was telling Rogan that this show is hysterical. He also mentioned some behind-the-scenes stuff. When I saw the next day that there's an OOTV thread dedicated to this show, I thought you guys might find this interesting.

Impractical Jokers stuff starts at 35:45. Rogan and Stanhope were reminiscing about all the interference they got from the network during their short run as replacements for Kimmel+Carolla on The Man Show, and Stanhope says, basically, "That's nothing, listen to what these poor *******s have to put up with." He spends about a minute on IJ, then they go back to Man Show stuff, then Stanhope goes back to IJ at 40:05 for another minute...and then my favorite part, Stanhope crushes TruTV at 42:30.

NSFW audio, LDO.

QFT.

Yea YTF you don't know what you are missing if you've never seen the show. I suggest buying the DVD and watching it straight through. You will piss in your pants laughing.

All 4 guys are so likeable that even if something "bombs" it's still funny because you enjoy the effort. And it rarely if ever "bombs."

I remember sals reddit ama last year. He intimated problems with the network by saying something like "the show is funny but i know it can be so much funnier".

Man, latest episode was probably funniest yet. Love when they go head to head and get other guy to lose. Joe's punishment was great! Everyone in the audience was poor white trash that probably were offered a free magic show. LOL.

Loved Q goading Sal.

"So Al, where do you paint?"

"It's Sal, not Al. I umm...paint my taint."

Hahaha!

Love this show. Marathoned the entire thing in about a week.

Too many falling on the floor laughing moments. Love Joe at the buffet, any LARRY! "appearance", Sal busting out laughing at everything... Fun all around.

One of my favorite skits is Sal as a sassy girl at the movie theater... "You wearing the hell outta that shirt boy!" Q as Christopher walken was classic also.

I think the entirety of the "Complete task before escalator reaches the top" was absolute gold. All four of them were brilliant, from the first moment of Sal scaring a poor woman to death, to black guy with the triple hug into group hug, to Murray blocking the escalator, to Quinn chucking his below off the side of the escalator and yelling at a group of guys to give him a belt, to Joe chasing a guy backwards down the escalator.

So so good

Haha Sal's punishment was epic! Can't believe he was terrified of that little girl. And then pulling the rope at the end abandoning him in middle of cornfield with a cat chasing his was fantastic.
